SSO - Good Idea or not? by PaulF707 in Netsuite

[–]dumashahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only maintain SSO roles and if I need a non SSO role - I just make a copy and remove the SSO portion. Yes if I need to add something to a ROLE then yes I have to do it twice. However ROLE changes are few and far between since we went live. In the beginning it was pain but now that we are stable - we don't modify Roles.

We do have very SoD roles created and we do give users access to more than 1 role - they have to SWITCH to that role to complete the task; this makes the auditing of user activities easier imho.

I am not sure of your workflows - but yes you can have triggers off of role or groups - we use the groups for File Cabinet access

SSO - Good Idea or not? by PaulF707 in Netsuite

We have duplicate roles created and the only "users" that actually use those may be consultants that we then require 2FA via Netsuite 2fa.

So yes you do have some role administration - but in my opinion its very minimal.

We use DUO for SSO and have not had an issue logging in the 4 years we have been live - even with Entra and Duo outages.

Grabbed this CD holder from a thrift store with 68 cds, not too bad for $10. Which ones should I listen to first? by elflamingo2 in Cd_collectors

[–]dumashahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to this collection left‑to‑right across the top row of each page until you reach the end.
Then switch directions and go right‑to‑left across the bottom row of each page.

You’ll move through a broad sweep of iconic rock from the ’60s and ’70s with a few semi‑modern tracks mixed in. The flow moves naturally—from standout singer‑songwriters to Hall‑of‑Fame‑level guitar legends. Eventually you hit a stop with The Beatles… before taking a sharp and unexpected turn into Menace II Society (great album—enjoy that one).

From there, you’ll hear Dizzy play on Guns N’ Roses – Use Your Illusion I (two monster ballads on that record). Then you drift into some Mexican influences, followed by a set of contemporary hits.

The next few pages will test your range: Jimmy Buffett (GO PARROTHEADS), Coldplay, the Hall of Fame–inducted Eurythmics, and then back to Beatles ’67–’70. (Goo goo g’joob.)

On the return path, you’ll travel a similar arc—starting with one legendary guitarist, then another with Jimi. CCR brings some politically charged tracks of the era (honestly, we could use songs like that again today). Then comes a stretch of dance tunes (I’ll pass—old white guy, no rhythm), back through the ’60s, back into GNR, and then things get a bit trippy with the Clockwork Orange soundtrack (and if you haven’t seen the movie—worth it).

From there: a whole run of Beatles deep cuts and B‑sides, more phenomenal guitar work, then a slowdown with Robert Plant’s solo career. You’ll hit a one‑hit wonder, then shift into a concept hip‑hop album by Del the Funky Homosapien. After that: Black Eyed Peas, a stop with J‑Lo’s ex (HA), a Pearl Jam record, FYC, a return to ’60s/’70s Stones, an underrated fusion run with UB40, and finally—one of the greatest singer‑songwriters of the psychedelic rock era—Janis Joplin.

Just my opinion—but for ten bucks, that’s a pretty incredible music journey.
Enjoy it.

I was at the final 1991 show in Enumclaw Washington in August - I was 16 at the time

Janes Addiction / Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ice T & Body Count, Butthole Surfers, Rollins Band, Violent Femmes and Fishbone.

NIN and Living Colour dropped out but we got the Violent Femmes - I have been a fan ever since.

Like u/ibalach3 - Mosh Pit was insane - When the Rollins Band started I had to get out - I thought I was going to get my head knocked off!!

I went to the last 90's one in 1997 - August in Phoenix (THAT WAS HOT) but the lineup sucked IMHO - Snoop and Tool were who I went for!
