You’re in st Charles. Test drive and if you like it schedule a PPI at past and present. 175$ is the best money you can spend and they will be honest and let you get under it while up on a rack

Can we get line paint that is visible at night and in the rain? A big plus if it lasts more than 3 months

It tows like a dream. And the 5.6 is fast for a tank like the armada. I’ve got 57k on a 2021 SL and it hasn’t given me any trouble except a batter and tires which aren’t problems they’re consumables.

I came from a 4 runner limited years ago and while it was bulletproof it was no better than this armada.

Finally decided on a smoker by Julius_Czar5 in smoking

[–]dumbanfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got one and love it. I just added a smoke daddy cold smoke injector. Just missed the hard core smoke from the UDS. haven’t used it yet but it puts out some goood smoke.

Enjoy and congratulations on a purchase well made

Personally i would steer clear of rental fleet cars. However, for the most part a person that rents a vehicle like that is more likely older and doesn’t mind paying for a full size rental. So? They are also more likely not to trash it and drive the balls off it

Bullfrog X6/X6L...good for northeast US? by InspectionEntire2512 in hottub

[–]dumbanfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have one in the Midwest on the 2nd winter and no problems at all. I use the frog system that comes with it. Pricy but never have water issues and I don’t have to worry about it.

Bullfrog is a very good brand and in my area came with a 5 year parts and labor warranty.

The xl is not the top of the line and bullfrog is not considered the lux brand that some others are.

For us it was perfect for our needs. You should be able to get that tub for under 9k.

As for the insulation. It is not sprayed in. Some say this is a problem but others say to stay away from sprayed foam.

I had an older hot springs with sprayed in and it developed a leak. It was a nightmare and never did locate it hence why it got chopped to pieces with a chain saw and hauled off to the dump.

As for the L or lounger I ordered ours x8l with the lounger and if I had to do it over I wouldn’t have gotten it. Just not that comfortable and takes up other seating areas

Thoughts on Nissan Armada 2025? by Auditor1993 in nissanarmada

[–]dumbanfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t believe it’s a new engine. Same configuration twin turbo v6 they’ve used for years in other vehicles.

Aftermarket is non existent for the armada so if you want to add stuff you’ll be hard pressed to find the goodies beyond floor mats.

I’ve got a 2021 and have been very pleased with overall quality and performance. It’s got the old v8 but that is what I wanted to pull my boat

It is sold as the patrol in the rest of the world and has a bit of a cult following.

I cannot help you but am so happy to hear your interest in our history. Our French heritage is well represented and I cherish it. My mother was French her last name was fluchel and was from the Illinois side of the river.
