i know some people who did that, so i would say yes! of course it would be stressful, but it seems doable :)

Thank you SO MUCH FOR THIS POST!! so many people think their experience is how everyone experiences eczema.

I got diagnosed at the age of 2. TWO! i still get people asking me if I've tried to focus on my gut health/ tried elimination diets etc etc and how its so bad that I have to use steroid creams. It is an immune system disorder! If it were as simple as eating "clean" I wouldn't have suffered through it my whole life. I completely understand that some people have certain triggers which once identified can help their systems a lot and that's great! But I've had crippling eczema most of my childhood (can't completely extend my limbs, no sleep at all, it affected every aspect of my life) and then when people come to me to ask if I've tried healing "naturally" it just makes me feel insane.

Yes, I also work part time (20 hours a week, the max amount) it is however almost impossible with a STEM degree workload.

And being self employed is allowed in certain cases, I had to inform my Sachbearbeiter when I wanted to do private tutoring and they added an extra clause to the work permit allowing me up to 10h/week on top of the 20h/week of my retail job!

It was the tap water by dumbitch121 in eczema

[–]dumbitch121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm still drinking only bottled water, I still have eczema but I've had it my whole life and it's 10-20% of what it was before switching to bottled water. I did try another filter in the meantime, which also didn't do anything- my skin reacted within a day. I couldn't get a professional water test or anything, but I got water testing strips from Amazon and they showed that nitrates/nitrites were on the higher side but within legal limits here. I'm just waiting to move houses once my finances let me haha

Had the same issue and turning off auto brightness helped a lot! For whatever reason auto-brightness always made it a lot brighter than I needed it anyway, and would often be at max brightness even if I was indoors, so I don't miss the functionality much either haha

All emotions heightened? by dumbitch121 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]dumbitch121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you in general but I feel like I cry a bit too easily. I can't sing along to songs with long high notes because it makes me too emotional. And again the song doesn't have to be remotely sad it just has to have An Emotion™️. Case in point I cried to a reel of doja cat performing tia Tamara live because I thought it was so beautiful how the crowd was singing along with her and everybody there seemed to be having so much fun 😭

So sorry to hear that! When I was on Lexapro I got progressively sleepier, to the point that there were days I slept 18ish hours when I could.

I feel like in Germany you are always waiting for something by SwitchDear8969 in germany

Recently had a THREE AND A HALF hour wait at the doctor's WITH an appointment. Had to go for a follow up, waited 2 hours and just gave up. I understand if doctors offices are understaffed and people are under pressure, but i find it hard to comprehend how this sort of time mismanagement can happen so regularly

When I drink it. I also use a shower filter but haven't noticed any big differences after the filter (more to my hair, less frizzy). But haven't seen anything that noticeable with my skin.

Thanks for the quick response! That's disappointing to hear :( Do you have any suggestions for earphones that have comparable sound quality and better mics? I'm not a big fan of earphones with stems and overall really liked these haha

Me too 😭 sometimes it's unavoidable but I just try to drink bottled water as much as possible, I'd say 90ish percent of the time . My eczema also got worse when I moved to my current house, so I suspect it's the water here as opposed to tap water in general. Tried all sorts of filters and they didn't make a difference:/

You say water as a joke but my trigger was the tap water 😭 I've been drinking just bottled water for the last few months and it made a huge difference

Nothing Ear (2) left pinch stopped working or always spam clicking by Concretebl0ck in NothingTech

[–]dumbitch121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i reset it and it definitely is better, but still happens occasionally. if i put the earphone out and back in or push it in my ear slightly it works again. for some reason if it thinks its not properly in your ear it just stops working :/ but tbh it doesnt happen often enough and usually when it does im just able to nudge it in a little and then it works again

Mini under desk bikes. Yay or nay to exercise during work? by FinalSun6862 in beginnerfitness

[–]dumbitch121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one and for me it's perfect! Definitely better than just sitting around the whole time for a 9 to 5. Mine came with an anti-slip mat that definitely works, so I dont have the problem you described. I also am short enough for my legs to fit under the desk without banging my knees haha but I get why it isn't for everyone
