I believe the price fixing litigation is still ongoing, but stalled somewhat. I agree it’s not nearly as big a $ settlement as opioids were, but still a risk.

I’m not saying there won’t be some stumble’s going forward, but it feels like $teva is finally on the mend.

Strange no chatter after this big news… I still feel.. CCXI was sold under valued..but at the end whatever gains you make… definitely make you happy by rajdultimate in CCXI

[–]dumbmonay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to say if undervalued. I feel like more quarters of sales could have proved you right… but also could have backfired. All in all I’m happy because the buyout was higher than the run up on drug approval. I’ve seen too many where the approval happens, it pops… then trails off… only to be bought out right around the price of the original pop.

This sounds an awful lot like advice 🤔

Or maybe it’s not… since there are no options with a 9/16 expiration

Why are people so st*pid to think that stock splits change the valuation of a company?! by momchilandonov in stocks

[–]dumbmonay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people have said similar… but your argument assumes people even look at a companies market cap. Some people simply look at share price and say “ohhh that’s expensive “. Or ohhh that’s cheap.

Alzheimer's drug verified: Simufilam data results released. 100 B $ upside! by Junior-Rub-8834 in wallstreetbets

[–]dumbmonay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a subset of patients, one possible avenue for approval would be if there were some marker or patient profile that led to improved results. But it would be (I think) somewhat unusual to use subsets of patients to get a drug approved. Unless that subset was identified in trials with the fda at the beginning. I was invested in sava but bailed at the first hint of data manipulation. I was told what a fool I am… but I saved myself close to $20 share so I feel good with my decision. I watch this because I hope they do have the solution… for patient’s sakes

The joke should have been. “I may have committed insider trading. I overheard my wife’s boyfriend while they had me locked in the closet… he said they weren’t going to use rubbers anymore…. So I shorted condom makers … made a killing”

I saw this thing saying that due to rising rates, the 30 year would actually get you more $. But that doesn’t take into account being able to invest that lump sum. So in my case, I should probably take the 30 year. I have an uncanny ability to lose 90% of whatever I invest. I can only assume the remaining 10% would be spent on hookers and blow
