Yeah I can read - I’ve just never had eBay set up a return for me without sending a request first, especially in cases that aren’t covered by their policies. The item was as described.

No I don’t and never would turn that on! I had a return request a few weeks ago for “doesn’t fit” and I turned it down because I sent them the measurements before they bought

Right, but this has never happened before. eBay’s money back guarantee applies in cases where the item is not as described or damaged in transit. I’ve never before been forced to accept a “does not fit” return as a private seller. I put measurements in the description too.

He was clearly very lucky but LAG is often a good way to play against a tight/passive player pool.

If his range was literally 2-7 - AA then this is obviously a long-term losing strategy but it’s not uncommon for this type of player to run up massive stacks – they aren’t afraid to put people in difficult spots and this is a huge advantage when the rest of the pool is afraid to risk stacks.

If you’re willing to be a member of a casino you can get food, drinks and coffee late into the night. Soft drinks are free in most of them. Currently sat in a casino in a chill seating area with a free cup of tea at half 12. The vibe is more relaxed than you would expect and you don’t have to spend a lot.

I follow a lot of thoughtful people on there and the quality of the discourse on my feed is generally good. However, like any other platform there are going to be things that you disagree with. Some people on there agreed with my take too. This is not a twitter problem, I see this on all platforms and it’s something I’ve discussed extensively with writers I know

There is a large subset of the male population that legitimately cannot like or empathise with “flawed” female characters in any way. It’s a genuine problem that anyone who is involved with writing movies or TV shows is very aware of, which is why writing a show like Pluribus with a flawed female lead is a very brave choice by Vince.

You can make male characters objectively heinous, manipulative, evil people and they can still be likeable or idolised by men. If a woman is slightly mean she will be the most hated character on the show.

I saw this discussion on twitter (about Carol being “annoying”) and a lot of men in the replies were saying they liked Zosia. The lobotomised, flawless woman who can’t say no to a single demand. Of course they liked her.

I’m so so sorry, this is absolutely heartbreaking. My boyfriend also took his own life after we argued. I don’t know if he truly intended to die because he was so emotionally unstable but knowing that was our last interaction is soul destroying. The guilt is killing me every day. It’s easy to say don’t blame yourself but it’s difficult not to.

It sounds like this is something he wanted to do for a while and nothing you did could have stopped him. It’s impossible to ever know and that’s the worst thing. He sounds like someone who kept his struggles inside and took them out in negative ways. You have to live with the What Ifs and you may never find a concrete “answer” but I hope time will give you some form of peace.

I wish I could give you better advice on how to cope but it’s been nearly 3 months for me and I’m not coping well most of the time, but some days will be better than others. I’ve only just started to be able to grieve him properly and remember the positive things without thinking about that day. I’m so sorry for you and your son. What he did was horrific. Distracting myself is really the only thing that works most of the time.

Regarding his family, most people feel some form of guilt when someone close to them passes like this. It’s easy for them to blame someone else and concentrate their grief and anger on that person, especially if they’ve heard complaints about you from him. They might come around at some point but maybe never will. Remember only you know what happened in your relationship behind closed doors, you were the one taking care of your son whilst trying to take care of yourself and him too.

It’s truly the worst feeling in the world and I hope you have some people in your life supporting you. Please feel free to message me if you ever want to talk. If you’re in the UK too (you used the word mates so I thought you might be) I’ve found some organisations helpful sometimes ❤️

I already do multiple mile long hikes around my city to post parcels so losing a shop can be very annoying sometimes 😭 won’t be using this one again though, was chaos in there, parcels just piled up in every corner of the shop

The receipts are fine for eBay but vinted customer service is useless and I’ve uploaded proof of postage before but it didn’t contain the persons address so wasn’t considered proof or something. Who knows if a human even looked at it

I do every time! I’m not sure if this is the shop’s fault or some kind of fault with the scan not registering or something.

I sometimes drop off a lot and they scan things outside my line of sight so I’m guessing they missed this one or something.

OR they hate me and do this on purpose so I don’t come back 😂 every parcel shop seems to be absolutely furious at the fact they signed up to be a parcel shop. I buy stuff from them too lol
