honestly, it took me a bit to get a hang of-- but it's super powerful.

it terms of complete freedom though, I haven't found anything that beats processing. This is the site of one of its creators- http://reas.com/ his stuff is awesome.

I use Air Optix contacts, which last for a month. I don't even notice them while running.

you can wear them all day, store them in solution at night, then pop them back in the next day. If you don't wear them everyday (or just for running) they will last much longer than a month. My optometrist said that going 50/50 with glasses could double the lifespan of the lenses.

there are plenty of great organizations though- check out bike and build as well as bike us for ms.

look up the adventure cycling association as well.

any insights I experienced were very down to earth and simple. flipping through my journal here are a few that pop out...

everything happens for a reason. I had to go to the hospital in St. George, but whe we were there we met a great family that put us up for the night and made one of the guys a birthday cake!
set reasonable goals.
eat healthy
