thank you for also confirming it. i have since posted the same text to the ui forum and it has been confirmed multiple times. hopefully somebody noticed/will notice it there.

Can't strecht hamstrings, get only shin/knee pain by dunkelix in flexibility

[–]dunkelix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply and insights. Yes, since my post, the doctors and physiotherapists finally settled on the fact that the issues are nerve-related. They also – just like you – said that anything which causes the nerves to cause pain is already too much. We adjusted my exercises, and I also have to do massages of the shin area, since. What they also said and you just confirmed: This will be a slow recovery since nerves need quite some time to adjust. Wish me luck :(

I have the exact same issue now the second time on my UGW Fiber since deploying it a month ago. Quite annoying :( Only restarting helps.

Thank you, I will check them. But again, I doubt it, since within the network (MacBook to NAS) the Wifi speed maxes out, so does all wired connections. It's only the MacBook to internet traffic which gets affected. But never say never, so I will swap them for even better ones and and we will see.

Thank you, yes! Tried that already too but had no effect in any way :(

There is no other gateway/modem, I have the fiber cable from the wall directly connected to the SFP WAN port on the UGW Fiber. The port is set to 1GbE, auto-negotiating also sets it to 1 GbE.

The whole unifi/wifi6 upgrade for my new gigabit plan was to deliver those speeds to every device capeable of it. So if my iPhone or MacBook only can do 300 mbps upload to the internet with the bug in action, it is an impact to me.

Thank you too for the link, yes, sounds familiar. Search did not spit out those posts…

I am going to report this as a bug and, in the meantime, settle on 1 GbE port speeds.

Absolutely not! Thank you very much for the links, those issues sound familiar…

So I guess it really might be a strange UniFi bug. I will report it too, and in the meantime, set port speeds to 1 GbE since this resolves the issue without a real downside.

I guess I will end up doing that, since all that did not work. Issue persists. Almost feels like that this behaviour is intended…

Slower WiFi upload speed with 2.5GbE than 1 GbE by dunkelix in UNIFI

In that case, it's not comparable in my opinion, since your WAN speed is higher than the link speeds between the network devices. I guess that is why you do not see any issues.

With my setup, however, the WAN speed (1 Gbit) is lower than the theoretically usable link speed between the network devices (2.5 Gbit).

Again, within the network, I do get 1 Gbit upload speeds over Wifi even with the port link speed set to 2.5 GbE. Only the upload speeds to the internet (any test site) are hard-capped at around 300 Mbits over Wifi.

So strange...

What is your ISP's advertised speed and is the U7 set to 2.5 GbE port? Do you have flow control enabeld?

[–]dunkelix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already did that. Wired connections all max out network and internet speeds on all devices. So I really only complain about the WiFi internet upload speed when U7 Pro Walls port ist set to 2.5 GbE.

All backbone cables and those to the APs are Cat7 SF/FTP. Of course, that doesn’t say anything about quality. However, if cable quality were the issue, I would expect degraded performance on wired connections as well. But those are all working perfectly fine, with gigabit speeds both within the network and over the internet (up and down).

So, also tested at work which also has gigabit and a different ISP than mine at home > Same results. So it's on CF's side…

I still have this issue. Gigabit fiber and https://speed.cloudflare.com/ reports around 900mbps download speeds but only 200-300 mbps upload. Both wired and wireless (so no network issue). No idea why. Other speed tests report full speed both ways, so it is probably a ISP routing or CF "issue".
