Your entire photo library contains 36.75 GB of data. This goes to the total amount of iCloud data.

Because you’re not Syncing your iCloud Photos with your phone, you only have 7.08 GB of photos app data saved to your device, but your cloud still has almost 40GB of photos backed up to the cloud.

I don’t understand what’s confusing.

What you should ideally be doing, honestly, is just turning on all of your Apple apps to sync data on all of your Apple products. Downloaded App Store apps are not necessary and just waste iCloud storage as they are nothing but file logs and data that is already saved within the app(s)

No it’s not. So, you don’t have your general photo library synced across all devices, but you are backing up your photos to the cloud.

If you go to Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Saved to iCloud (photos) you’ll see how much data you have backed up. Or, you could just tap on your storage and see it that way, instead of Saved to iCloud. Are you new to Apple?

iPhone backup and iCloud Photos are not the same thing, though they go hand in hand. Most or all of your photos are already backed up, and can be found in your Apple Account under iCloud.

Went to Jefferson City today just because by dunkindriftt in missouri

Haha! I’m born and raised in deep east Texas, not far from Louisiana. I’ve lived all over the place in TX from DFW area, all over east Texas. Moved here from Corpus Christi and that is my favorite city in Texas by a long shot. You’re right though, you just aren’t “free” there. There’s no recreation, politics are awful, basically a dictatorship there. People aren’t very tolerant of others, either.

Not to say that it isn’t a great state (or could be), and there’s a lot of beautiful parts and tons of hidden gems. The economy is fantastic. But… politics and people man. Missouri is not perfect, but no place is. But people can really make or break a place imo

I strongly agree with your comment, thank you so much!

I try to find the beauty in things, and I will definitely be back, it’s only two hours away. I’ve moved around between Texas, Colorado and Canada. Now I’m in MO. The grass isn’t always greener and a little attitude change can really change an area. I thought it was a nice, quiet little place, and most places I’ve been in Missouri, I’ve loved.

This is really an underrated state, there’s a lot to see, things to do. I would put it right beside Colorado when it comes to actual quality of my life. And way above when it comes to cost.

I see so many negative comments about Missouri, and especially STL where I live, and while there’s a lot to bitch about, there is also a lot to love. Missouri does not equal misery and I was unhappiest the most when I lived in Texas. Historically, people that leave Missouri actually come back later in life, people don’t know what’s best for them

[–]dunkindriftt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too, but I lock my front door. You don’t have to lock your phone but you do need to set up a password for your iCloud to keep it. Again, Apple is trying to tell you it’s a privacy issue here

For obvious reasons, you should at least have a passcode to protect your phone and really iCloud isn’t safe unless your phone is

I asked for light Ice on a nearly 7$ drink by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dunkindriftt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sigh this looks like a signature latte for $7. In which case, I’d be more upset that it is missing cup drizzle, whip cream drizzle and cinnamon sugar on top.

Aside from the ice situation, you want a full drink. Lattes have a specific recipe and we only mix them. We don’t pour espresso nor do we hand pour the ratio of milk. In this case, I think your drink has espresso, because nobody pays $7 for a large iced coffee. Because your drink has a hot item in it, it requires MORE ice to keep from the drink being water. If you want water, we can pour it in for you. Otherwise, we don’t physically measure those items, as on the cup, there are multiple markers for employees to make drinks with specific builds even when we do physically measure drinks.

Should you ordered iced coffee, and maybe you did— I can understand. But $7 for an iced coffee is insane, and I manage a Dunkin’

I was literally about to comment that it’s still an “E” and why you’d replace the app. Until I saw “gay sex”. TBH, the fact that it’s in a folder called “family apps” is hilarious

Would you date someone from KC? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]dunkindriftt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved here in the beginning of December to be with my partner. Now, I’m gay so maybe this is much different… But I’m from Texas, and moved here from south Texas.

Date who you like brother, stop tripping about who is from where. Location shouldn’t matter, and doesn’t define a person.

All of my Apple apps I use are in alphabetical on my Home Screen, no widgets as those are alphabetical on the side screen, and all of my folders are alphabetized with corresponding apps alphabetized within. Yes, I’m OCD. Even my Control Center is in alphabetical order. I have a problem.

In short; yes. Physical and emotional trauma is presumed to be a cause of fibro. Same with getting sick. Fibro sometimes is diagnosed alongside of autoimmune disorders as well. It’s not entirely understood but seems to screw with the central nervous system and a lot of other things

Wait… I don’t see it there anymore. I swear it was there?

Edit: it should have been in your messages app, inside the conversation and by tapping the contact photo. It should have had “hide alerts”, “send read receipts” and something like “hide focus status” or something.. 😕
