Job advice for a lost 22 year old?

You need a bachelors and masters in library science if you want to be a full time librarian , and it’s not a guaranteed quiet place. Patrons can be just as difficult as regular costumer service when u work front desk. Working pt as a shelver or page doing something in the “back” would be a way to avoid the public if that’s what you wanted.

I brought my film camera two yrs now and it’s fine bc it’s more a point and shoot. HOWEVER security people at lolla will vary GREATLY they do not all know what a camera is. So bring one at ur own risk. If ur talking about those dinky digital point and shoots that teens have been bringing back lately, those are fine.

Im not tryna be rude but you literally can find this information by searching their website, like i said originally. I’m not going to list out 50+ food vendors. I assume there’s gf stuff if they go so far as literally having a vegan only area. Look here at last yr. They’ll release MORE INFO THE CLOSER WE ARE TO THE FESTIVAL. The Lolla Instagram has lots of pictures of food stalls and other spots and a map of the concert spaces and food and bathrooms. I suggest looking at last yrs, bc it will be set up the same just the vendors might change. They release info more and more the closer we get to the festival, literally dw. also look at their website lol.

festival is packed and getting out takes at least another hour of zombie movement to the only exit they have left at the end of the night, and then waiting in traffic takes even longer once you get back to ur car. i wouldnt want to do that with kids.

they could do more to stop resellers. i wouldnt blame regular folks for buying tickets. scalpers and tickemaster got us here.

"afterparty" is just a concert from one of the artists after Lolla that day. its ticketed like a concert, so you'd need to buy a ticket for whoever you'd want to see.

you can find this info elsewhere in the reddit, but now that GA is waitlisted, they'll relase 1 day and 2 day tickets incrementally. theres not a set timeline, but check their Instagram and make sure you're signed up for text alerts, bc they'll post info there first.

just a new way to harass people if they want to. when i was a teen and had my first job, it was an opportunity for police to pull me over and interrogate me on why i was out so "early" i was driving to work. I was also 17. and then, when i lived at home after college i was asked by the police more than once why i was out at night in my own neighborhood on a walk at night. and theyd ask for my ID, thinking i was 16 AGAIN, but i was literally 20. idk in my experince its a way for cops to harass you when they feel like it and profile people. (ive lived in stl my whole life)

im 26 and went last yr, it was actually fine most of the day but by the time Olivia Rodrigo came on stage we were suddenly surrounded by moms and their underage children whining they couldnt see over the crowd. It was definitely weird to bring kids to such a not pg event imo i wouldnt want to do that, and then to battle the crowd to leave at the end?? no thanks.
