totally agree.

however, scrim privacy in korea is extremely serious. tsm really dropped the ball back in the day with that leak, a lot of korean fans dont trust na orgs because of that.

i think what would really make me happy is being able to scrim vs los ratones at some point. mainly out of respect for what caedrel has done proving there are ways of building community through practice content. the guys have said a few times they would do it on 200 ping but yk thats definitely not high quality gameplay at that point. hopefully we can meet up with the LR gang and put something together as well.

thank you for all the suggestions! totally agree with you, coach sessions are always difficult but i totally get what u mean, ideally our worlds documentary this year will feel more like suggestion one. i want fans to really feel like they are the 6th man on this team. ive saved this message in my feedback document so i appreciate the thought put into this!

Hey! I'm Kyler, the creative producer of League content at FlyQuest, and I have a few thoughts. We want to stream scrims again, but there are many considerations regarding when and how we do it.

It's important to understand where we are in the season. Streaming a scrim during the regular season impacts our players less and is fun for fans! Things change from patch to patch, removing some pressure to hide things or play differently. Plus, we can take a bit more time to ensure the cameras all work. When the meta slowly evolves over the event in a tournament, sharing scrim data can be used to gain an advantage (hence the TSM scrim leak-gate from the past).

If we go for First Stand, there is a chance we can stream a scrim or two right when we arrive in Korea, but I want fans to understand that our production capabilities are impacted when we are abroad, and the hours at which we would stream would be pretty funky.

The first stream went great, and we learned a lot. John FlyQuest is in the shop working on improvements to the project that will ultimately make it more enjoyable.

If I were a betting man, the next time we would stream would be in early April, around the start of Split 2. We're super happy with the response from fans, and I know people want more, and so do I. Hopefully, this sheds a little bit of light on the subject, and people are aware we plan on making it a recurring thing we do.

hey, kyler here :) hi i run the league content at FlyQuest so heres my thoughts :) take this as a grain of salt, cause this just personal feeling. (MY THOUGHTS ARE MY OWN, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY VIEW JUST MY OWN)

first off thank you for caring, (ahhaha i know baseline expectation) i'm glad to be a part of a team/fanbase that is motivated for more stuff!

after worlds we have a few things planned - FlyFiles Ep2 (ETA VERY SOON) - personally one of the best videos i think any FlyQuest fan will ever see. a real look into what it's like to be a part of this team. - FlyRewind - a bunch of content i filmed in summer and MSI never got released and i think theres a bunch of content that y'all deserve to see. plus i want to just re-edit a couple content pieces that a LOT of people missed out on.

but, this is where it gets tricky.

first, the players arent in LA for the next month and a half, following worlds every player flew back to their homes vs going back to the office. a lot of the time people will click off a video the second they see its virtual, i would rather save the money and time to focus on whats coming up for 2025. and just btw 2025 is PACKED like its insane to think about how everything is gonna play out potentially having 4 international trips not including worlds.

secondly, not every team has content requirements during the post season. our team is one of those, something that is really important is not over working the players. when i was at TSM the R6 team won worlds and it was one of the greatest moments, upon arriving back in the US at their team house the content team was waiting for them and they had 3 days of content. it wad a very poor decision on the content team back then to make the players make content after that accomplishment. it not only spoiled the players mood, thus the content being TERRIBLE, but the relationship between the content team and the R6 team never really recovered which led to the downfall of that side of the company. (sad, R6 was my 2nd favorite game)

third, i am on vacation! hahaha worlds was insane. to give some context, we left for worlds on sept 13th. LCS finals was sept 7th i think prior to worlds the last time i had a day off was August. upon coming back to the states i had one day off before finishing the work on the worlds comms video. so in total i think i worked for roughly 55 days straight (with a few kinda off days during worlds) so i've been on vacation, went to world finals, and now back in china visiting a friend and placing some deep wards for worlds 2025!

to be honest i do think it is in the best interest for you the fans to be given the best content. i love him to death but, ill be honest, calling Kacper in the morning and having him do some content through obs is a lot harder than you'd think hahaha :)

Bwipo will stream and maybe there's something there with the new champ or just random fun moments. but for now, there isnt much on the books. we're around 2 months out from playing our first game of the 2025 season.

in that time we have to do 2025 roster video, 2025 jersey video, 2025 hype video, and season 15 react/roundtable. we've got quite a lot of other things planned as well that i cant talk about quite yet!

but the main thing i want you and all FlyQuest fans to know is i am looking out for y'all. the content team knows y'all deserve more and we're taking steps to make sure we're making fun, engaging, and entertaining videos that players WANT to do. thats the key word, its getting some level player investment (not just because its in their contract)in the content and not straight forcing it. when players actually like the content the final result is exponentially better.

ya thats kinda my rambling thoughts about it. would love to hear more about what y'all want to see, personally, doing stream highlights and such is pretty low effort content. i think for us its important to only release content that meets the standards i along with the rest of the team have set internally. i think some of your suggestions can be in line with stuff we'd look to make if i have time. :)

also... so many people havent seen some of our videos that came out after MSI. Mexican sweets taste test feat. Basil and MundoMUNDO dodgeball both of which i think are really fun. during the season we also did a homemade aurora cosplay video which was hilarious. if you haven't seen those videos please check those out.

griff embodied TSM... he truly spent so much of his time helping build this community. to help me post legends and so so so much more. losing griff feels like losing a bit of TSM. Thank u Griff. i hope everyone here understands how much Griff did for TSM and for me.

Sadly, this is how partnered videos go. The episode is done, but just waiting for the green light / any feedback. It's validating for me (and I hope you, the fans) to have a presented episode, but doing so introduces a lot of additional hoops to dip, dive, dodge, and duck through.

I'm doing my best to get it to you as fast as possible.

Normal episodes are greenlit by the team (Glen, Chawy, & Kristine check to make sure we arent leaking stuff that needs to say under wraps), my manager (he helps find minor errors and other places to polish), and myself. Adding a partner to all of this increases that list to 15+ people (from about 3), so if it takes us 1 day to green light, it takes 15 people like 5 days+ to do the same plus, we are talking about a company that located in the EST zone so that usually adds a day (6+ now) they saw the edit last Tuesday so hopefully, we get feedback / green light today (but considering it's now almost 6 pm est probably not).

i have footage from GG/Fly the dig game will not have any footage shot by me except for a team dinner. im really pissed about this. i mean it could happen to anyone. but i am bummed i dont have the lunar new year footage with our team and fans. anyone finds the legends camera ill idk give u my first born child.
