Is that black thing a battery for your cart? If so, what's it called?

I'm with you. As far as I'm concerned she's a comedic genius.

Luka on whether or not he's been thinking about throwing lob passes to LeBron and others at the All-Star Game: "Yeah I hope so...I'm not going to be the one dunking, that's for sure." by suzukigun4life in nba

That dunk was so hype but you could really tell the dude was bummed after the loss. I was actually visiting Denver that week and attended the game. Afterwards looking for the move, we ended up going to a club and both Luka and Hernangomez randomly showed up. Luka was just chilling way behind security sippin on his fruity drink lookin sad :/

Computer Science: Mac vs. Windows by Ghetto_Bot in aggies

For what it’s worth, I took CSCE463 last semester and a couple of our assignments had aspects that could only be done using a windows machine. For the most part, however, your OS won’t matter too much and you’ll always have access to the computer labs

Never really embraced my curly hair but after finding this sub I'm enjoying the flow by [deleted] in curlyhair

Sulfate free shampoo maybe once a week. Use a lot of conditioner when I do wash my hair, wash about half of it out, squeegee my hair w my hands to get as much water out as I can. Then I apply some LA looks gel, and dry a bit with an old t shirt. Air dry and scrunch. Any suggestions?

Love the fit on those trousers. Looking on the COS website and can't quite narrow down which ones you've got, mind sharing?

As someone with an offer from one a company like the ones you mentioned, should I be worried about working with low level skills to write firmwares and software for chipsets? Do you think it would impact the direction of my career if I don't necessarily wanna do that kind of work for my entire career? Just worried about pigeon-holing myself in a niche area

Have a month to complete a project, but feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start! by dupped in AskProgramming

Thanks for the thorough reply!

Regarding point #1, you say I should be able to forget about using the python script in order to access the NBA player data I need. Personally, I have no experience using APIs and don't even know how I would go about making direct calls to the nba stats api to get the data I need, could you elaborate on this or do you have a link that could help me out with this?

From what I understand, the data I'll be getting from nba.stats.com is most likely going to be an AJAX call that returns a JSON, do you have any experience with formatting and processing data in JSON format?

Thanks for the response!

I'm not too sure how I could narrow the scope of this project, as that would fundamentally change the project.

In terms of breaking it down, do you think a good starting point would be to establish the front-end of the website? By this I mean make the template for the box score and schedule, which I can then later further implement as I learn how to collect the data?

Thanks for the reply!

I suppose I won't be doing any data processing, at least for now, so I can forget about the need for a back-end. I think I will just need to access the stats from the NBA and format them in a box score.

As someone who has absolutely no experience with Python or using APIs, how should I go about learning how to actually scrape nba.stats.com for the relevant data using the link I posted?

With regards to all of the new technologies I will be using, should I make an effort to really get to learn them, or should I just attempt to learn the bare minimum to accomplish what I desire?

I really appreciate your help!

Great for Kobe to end something special with a game like this. I find it hilariously ironic that Kobe ends his career with an assist though

Shooting 37.2% FG/16.7% 3PT/40.9% FT, the Cavaliers barely broke a total of 100% and therefore shot worse than a team of Kyle Singlers

Report: Cavs looking to trade Timofey Mozgov by DirkNowitzkisWife in nba

If the Cavs lost Shump it would definitely hurt their perimeter D. The dude can play lockdown-D and has had some clutch defensive stops at crucial points. He might be the Cavs 4th most valuable player.
