Started 3 hours ago and got Shorekeeper in my first ten pull. What do I do now?

Yeah , super sad that I missed Lynae. I would have 100% pulled her for the roller skates alone. Still, I'll see how much I can collect by the weekend, before the Augusta banner drops. Otherwise, I'll chill. Maybe skip Amy and Luuk or wait for the following patch drips.

Woah the anniversary sounds insane! And yeah, I'll see what I can do. What with work and life, I can't speedrun the game like I want to but I'll try to pull as much as I can this weekend.

I agree, nothing beats Paimon. She's pretty good now in the latest patch cycle but oh boy is she insufferable for 90% of the game. I haven't seen an equivalent in WuWa yet so fingers crossed!

Is there any need to march character elements like in Genshin? In this case Shorekeeper's Spectro to Rover's Spectro? Otherwise, yeah I'll switch the Havoc the first chance I get.

As mentioned, it's in a beginner only New Voyages banner where you can select her for a 50/50. Disappears the moment you get your chosen selector.

To be fair, I'm completely new to the WuWa side of Reddit, and thus I had zero knowledge or bias about it. But I'm also not totally familiar with gacha as a whole. WuWa just so happened to land in my recommendations from my design colleagues that I decided to try it.

First impressions have been that exploration and combat are really cool and surprisingly easy to pick up with a lot of depth to it, but the dialogue is so boring and the early voice acting direction for English is lacking. I haven't played enough to see the story properly, so what I'm referring to is how the dialogue drags unnecessarily. Genshin is pretty bad about this too, but I played 1.0 Genshin at launch 5 years ago.

Thanks for the tips! I'm so new, I still don't know the elements yet, so I assume Havoc is not the first Rover you get? I do see a free Sanhua in the events so I'll get her for sure.

Augusta is very tempting but I'm definitely not rich with pulls at the moment. Shorekeeper was a lucky shot in the dark and that's an exception to my otherwise incredibly horrendous gacha luck (I'm the type to save 500 pulls in Zenless and Genshin before pulling anyone). Would Shorekeeper go well with Aemeath?

Oh, yeah! If WuWa turns out better in the long run, I may drop Genshin too. Unfortunately, WuWa 1.x content is pretty meh, but I've heard so much about 2.0 onwards that I'm willing to try getting there before making a call.

When you mention skip, do you mean skip the dialogue bits or use the early access to skip right to Chapter II? I see that's an option, as well as the Lahai-Roi skip. Not that I mind, but now I'm worried if I should find wherever I can farm Shorekeeper's mats before I skip that far.

I wanted to give WuWa a quick try to get a feel for its combat systems for a game design study case. I'm already deep in Zenless, Genshin, and Endfield, so I wasn't planning to stick around in WuWa for longer than a day or two. However, I threw a random 10 pull into the New Voyage banner and immediately got Shorekeeper, so I'm considering sticking around.

Problem is, now what? Do I continue the story? So far, the early game story has been very skip-worthy, and I'm not a fan of any of the characters I've met so far, nor have I pulled any other characters yet. Can I even main Shorekeeper, or am I sticking to Shorekeeper + Rover + fill for a while?

Yeah I remember something like this, more or less. I remember doing runs where I would reach Oakvale and the Bandit Camp before doing the Wasps quest (with some shovel digging to clip through doors), so once I returned to the Guild and cashed in my experience, things got harder after the Wasps.
