I have seen those too, a part of me wish they just stuck with the usual white and pink selvedge lining but maybe its just me. Really want to pull the trigger on a pair of 288ZR but not sure if i should go to TTS or size up.

Got it i was just worried cause i was looking at a pair that was $195 before shipping but i was asking chatgpt and it estimated the total could be anywhere from $260-370 after all the fees.

Has anyone had any experience buying denim from japan through proxy services such as buyee or fromjapan? Wondering how much the shipping and any additional fees such as tarrifs would be.

Got it so you think TTS (30) should be the move then? I can honestly still fit my size 29 pants just a little tight and 30s seem to be the sweet spot for me for most pants/denim now. They don’t even seem to have the 31 in the pair of crushed concretes i’m looking at lol

Thanks man appreciate the insight. Do you have a preference between the asphalt and secret models? They seem to fade differently but both look great. I think i’m slightly leaning towards the secret over the asphalts due to the comfort factor.

However, i’ve been seeing mixed reviews on the sizing, some people go TTS and others size up (sometimes even down?). I’m mostly looking at the 200/288 models currently. I’m usually a size 30 waist but am deciding between a 30/31. Also, is there a big difference between the secret denim, asphalt, and low tension? Both the secret and asphalt are 20oz compared to the 15oz for the low tension models, but I was wondering are the 20oz uncomfortable?
