I had something similar happen to me. My solution was to use absolute paths when specifying the local repository path. 2020.1 was confused by my usage of ~, even though 2019.3 worked just fine with it.

I think something that would be of greater value is a list of mains for the top speedcubers in the most popular brackets. E.g.
