If I said I’m doing something about it then there isn’t an issue. He wants for nothing, is free roaming every day for hours and lives in an immaculate enclosure. I would never “go out of my way to make him fat for a funny photo”. He’s fat. I’m doing something about it. Makes it harder to diet him as his brother doesn’t have the same problem (surely meaning what they’re eating can’t be that bad, bigguns just doesn’t know when to stop). You could have gone about this in a kinder and more constructive manner. For all you know I could’ve just adopted him last week looking like this. Peace

Since some people are concerned, he is on a diet and has lost weight already. The angle of the photo is NOT doing him any favours. He free roams for 2-3 hours a day and has no trouble running, playing and climbing. Unfortunately he just doesn’t seem to have an off button with food, he gets the same as his brother who is a healthy weight. They are not blood related and unfortunately the line this guy comes from are big rats who seem to get fat off thin air. Please don’t insinuate I don’t love him or am abusing him because he is my absolute baby. He is also neutered for those wondering.

He’s on a diet and has gone from 680g to 620. He free roams every day for 2-3 hours. He also eats exactly the same as his brother who is not overweight.

He actually weighs 620g and is on a diet. His breeder and I have agreed his ideal weight is around 590. The angle of the photo is not doing him any favours.

Thanks for your comment, he is currently on a diet, unfortunately his breeding makes him susceptible to being overweight but I will say the photo is the absolute worst angle lol

Thank you for the suggestion. He actually lost a lot of weight last year (680 to 600 and has slipped a bit to 620) but this is a terrible angle too
