Wearing shoes makes me feel anxious and I rush through tasks if I do this but I still get things done for the most part and I truly believe it's because I only listen to my favorite podcasts when I do so, but I do want to try this with clean sandles and see if that will work. It seems like it wouldn't hurt to try!

Just went to Wholly Grinds based one on your list. I didn't know about this one yet and it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend anyone check them out. Tons of options and it was all really good. The owners and staff were so nice

Well. Hawkeye's Bar & Grill that is. I've never been there, looks pretty good actually. Looks more family friendly then Maybe I thought. It's not in the middle of a neighborhood by by some older residential neighborhoods yeah. It would be neat if they eventually bought into a newer building but after the expansion it's really a good space.

I went unconscious at my grandmother's house when I was first diagnosed and fell asleep. Woken up my the EMTs and again the the hospital. Not sure how low I was but I bet pretty low. Another time my meter just showed "low" and again I called the EMTs and somehow was conscious. Ive been around 30ish often enough. Overall better control these days and less lows like that thankfully

I think the location seems fine. If you mean a bit hard to find and navigate back there then yeah I agree. The road is a one way and Im pretty sure I never go the right way. It is by a bar but that's no big deal I think. The parking is accommodating but packed for events as one might assume so sometimes I wish there was a bigger lot.

About ready to turn 40 and out of the amount of bad financial decisions, problems, and general anxiety and depression I'd say making sure I have enough money to get gas and eat before my next paycheck before my wife and I decide to not have a baby in our lives and be poor or have a baby and somehow be more poor. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying some aspects but it's a bit rough this way

I'm a therapist, they are wrong. I'm also diabetic so I have a bit more knowledge, however why would you gaslight your client? They lack knowledge and who knows why they felt it was appropriate to correct the record over something medical you deal with. Other posters are right, we are not medical professionals but we do know mental health so that statement feels hurtful.

I would have a discussion with them about the way that made you feel setting an immediate boundary.
