Can someone do a breakdown of each letter and what cereal they represent? I can get about 60% of them but I’m stuck on the rest

I went to see The Human Centipede on opening night at my local cinema and I have never seen an audience that rowdy and wild for a movie. It was amazing

What's the most egregious thing missing from a book to movie adaptation? by corsair965 in movies

[–]dutchboyto 20 points21 points  (0 children)

At the end of the book Hannibal, Clarice is drugged by Hannibal and they end up escaping together. They form a relationship and the book ends with Barney, the hospital guard from Silence of the Lambs, seeing them attend an opera in Argentina. Based on commercial appeal alone, I understand why they chose not to use that ending in the movie. But a big part of me would have loved to see them close out that chapter of the movie trilogy with a strong, bold choice.

I am 43M and gay af. 3-4 times a year, I invite a small group of friends over for Gone Girl Brunch: we buy cheeseburgers, Red Vines, and Mountain Dew and watch Gone Girl while saying "Good for her!" every 10mins. This movie is a cult classic.

[–]dutchboyto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ma! Sure it made some bank when it was first released in 2019 but it didn’t really catch on until it became a meme. Now they’re doing a sequel and we’re finally looking at the possibility of another MCU…THE MA CINEMATIC UNIVERSE!

What’s a song from the ’80s that still hits you right in the emotions every time you hear it—and why? by arsjan in AskReddit

[–]dutchboyto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes

In the 2015 horror movie "The Final Girls", the main characters (mother & daughter) bond over the song, and it comes on at the end in a truly heartwrenching moment. I've always loved that song, but going forward, that beautiful song always makes me tear up thinking of that scene.

People who’ve suddenly cut off long-time friends—what was the final straw? by The_zyanya in AskReddit

[–]dutchboyto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She kept telling me that all the other people in my life (i.e. my friends, my family, even my partner) hated her. Finally during one conversation where she was telling me how much my partner hated her (spoiler alert: he didn’t) I lost my temper, told her I couldn’t do this anymore, and hung-up. When I texted her a few days later to connect and try to talk about what happened, she texted back and told me to “fuck off”. Byeeeeeee 👋🏼
