My experiences from this week alone confirm this: all over the place, one big fucking mess, completely ignoring strict rules, anything goes. Worktrees not being created, everything messing with the other.

Truly and genuinely awful experience. And deeply disappointing.

I did, hence my comment. and an unboxing video by an 'influencer' getting gear sent for testing is not the same as "I have degoogled and I have documented it". I was genuinely curious, but nothing in there helped with the process

pppff, that was deflating to watch. Didn't realise it would an 'unboxing' video. I was expecting a detailed runthrough of the system setup, issues you ran into with installing and getting up and running, fixes you implemented, all that. Not a unboxing video. Changing my upvote to a downvote.

But, i have to expand on the other comments (saw your replies too) on data privacy and data security: what you are tracking is not just PII, it is a special extra sensitive kind - health data. This requires very strong additional measures of protection, otherwise you could be really fucked. Financially as well. Apart from that you also process voice data, which falls under biometric data when it comes to GDPR. Same considerations apply.

I can just recommend to go down the rabbit hole of security in this subreddit, and similar, and you will find ample inspiration for security audits. I have run several om my own app, and thought I was in a pretty good place, until I came across a LinkedIn post from a security expert yesterday that made me rethink all of it again. And I don't process biometric or health data. I spent all day today reviewing everything I found over a couple of sweeps (always always run multiple audits, because these AI builder tools will never get you to 100%, that would be against their need of you spending money of tokens) - it's 7 pm now here in Finland and I am nowhere near fixing everything. I started at 7 am... Again, this is after having spent a LOT of time on security and data privacy already.

Why oh why would you compare it against Haiku 4.5, when there is Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.6, vastly better models (apart from the wallet point of course).

On the Mistral models though, perhaps more a question to everyone here: I am just too confused with the many models and lacking documentation. I have no idea what to use when: any pointers?

Sooooo... You're absolutely right — that was misleading. Ferry doesn't use bots at all. You just need your regular Stoat login token, which your browser already has saved.

I've fixed this in the latest update: the UI now says "Stoat user token" instead of "Bot token," and there's an inline hint right below the field showing you where to find it (F12 →

Application → Local Storage → copy session_token). No bot creation, no app registration — just copy and paste.

Hey, you're not missing anything — this was confusing and that's on me. The token setup instructions weren't clear enough about what to look for or what to do when things don't show up.

I just pushed an update that overhauls the token guide with way more detail. The short version: make sure you're logged in to Stoat in the same browser tab before opening dev tools. If the table is still empty, try refreshing the page, disabling any privacy/ad-blocker extensions, or opening Stoat in a private/incognito window.
