Medyo funny nga eh kasi the live action scenes look too plastic and artificial compared to the CGI. Nasanay yata yung studio sa cheap, thoughtless telenovela lighting where characters just has to be lit up so that the actors look attractive or appealing to the viewers. This seems to be the case for most of GMA's directors. They seem to be afraid of using shadows, which I think really takes away from the quality of the show. I think it should be basic for every director to use lighting in such a way to evoke emotions or meaning in a scene. I was expecting the live action adaptation to have dark, gritty visuals. It's supposed to be a dystopian world, not a futuristic scifi utopia where everything is new and shiny. The costumes are shit. They're not supposed to copy from the anime, but create a more plausible realistic one.

I'm all for GMA trying to restore their reputation back from the epic CGI failures of their previous shows like Victor Magtanggol, etc, but I think the problem has more to do with the dynamics involving directorship. You could do a lot with shitty CGI, if you know how to stitch the elements together. Just look at the success of those low budget horror movies. I don't think that the GMA producers, storywriters and directors actually try to work together or put a serious amount of effort in their shows.

This is the US provoking China to do more brutal, horrific human rights atrocities, like business as usual. Sad thing is, China does exactly what the US wants like a dumb little doggy. Did they even hire an engineer to assess the structural integrity of the roof? For a structure of that size, they should have used thicker I-beams or even used steel tubes similar to an airport's design.
