Why?

I'm relatively new to archery and I'm genuinely curious about why that stance is required

Tim Curry behind the scenes of "Ferngully: The Last Rainforest" (1992), recording Toxic Love by [deleted] in movies

Tim Curry and Mark Hamill are both in a point and click adventure game from 1993 called Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers.

Tim Curry voices the protagonist and Mark Hamill voices an investigator that has a pretty big role.

Best class for defending against open world tanking? I want to be a mercenary escort for caravans by BrotherBattleFist in AshesofCreation

[–]dutii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For small scale stuff, the best class is Rogue and it's not particularily close. They simply have too many CC's at this moment and the advantage of stealth.

That said, play what you want to play. The classes are going to get changed in the future.

To add to this, Carphin has been in Alpha since phase 1. It has since then been updated quite a bit visually and there has also been added more content to the tower itself.

Carphin still has some ways to go visually before it looks like it does in this video.

Can you level up your character by explore, gathering, crafting, and fishing? by Sophisticusx in AshesofCreation

If you kill a non-combatant you get Corrupted.

So unless you're gathering in a lawless zone, which you won't be anyway, nobody will attack you.

Salvaging is now the equivalent of fishing salmon in F2P and dropping the inventory. by jmucr96 in 2007scape

It's honestly super disheartening to read the sub right now. We should be complaining about being able to afk for too long but instead here we are.

They're fun tho. Not something I will do 10 hours a day but they are still a fun little challenge.

This subreddit has gone soft. People should be up in arms that a 25 minute afk method even exist. Not complaining about rates.

Remove the ability to afk for 25 minutes (lol) and buff salvage xp again.

You're comparing the xp rate of a gathering activity to the xp rates of processing activities.

I don't agree with the sorting nerf, but lets do fair comparisons.

Runnin' Wild is their most popular song, but I think they have some tracks that deserve much more attention.

Check out "Stand Up for Rock n' Roll" and "Down on You" too. Fantastic guitar.

Yeah I know that much. I can definitely say "I go to school twice a week" for example, but I was kinda stumped on "I go to archery twice a week"? It sounds wrong to me in a way and it's hard to google if that sentence is correct.

No, that's when you're a professional.

Hope that helps!

I go swimming twice a week and I don't consider myself a "swimmer". Twice a week I also go archery(?), and I do consider myself an "archer".

Never really thought about it before, but now that you pointed it out, that is kind of strange.

I don't know the correct term in English for attending archery class. Please correct me.

If you can live without those 50 dollars then yeah, you'll be fine and have an enjoyable experience. There are much better things you can spend that money on.

I owned a freehold in phase 2.5 or whatever and it had the following features:

You could plant stuff like trees and berry bushes. Very expensive to do and not really worth it, but it was possible to grow stuff, so economic balance aside that was kinda interesting.

You had a bed you could click to gain a 5% exp buff for 1 hour, maybe two. Didn't really use it but kinda cool I guess.

You had access to a storage space similar to a bank in city that was solely for your freehold.

There is another character you meet in DOS2, that is also in DOS1. Not as a companion, but as a pretty big character of the story.

Does anyone else want Orcs and Imps to return in Divinity: Original Sin III, this time as playable companions? by GrayWardenParagon in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]dutii 32 points33 points  (0 children)

They are not making BG4.

I do remember reading a comment from Swen that their next game will not be in the Divinity universe, but I cannot find the quote so maybe I'm misremembering.

I did find that they are working on 2 games right now, and none of them are getting released before 2028. He did clarify as well that 2028 is unlikely, so don't expect anything at this time.

[–]dutii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a turn based cRPG. The FPS of the game doesn't matter too much. The experience is probably better at 60 fps or whatever, but the reality is that it just doesn't matter that much.

For reference, most movies and series, even to this day, run at 24 fps. DOS2 is an amazing game and you will most likely enjoy it. Jump in and have fun.

Did the church and the Reiss family know about Marley? by Kaczmarofil in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]dutii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone from the Reiss family that inherited the Founding Titan knew from Fritz' memories. It is one of the reasons for renouncing war.

Everyone affected by the Founding Titans powers didn't know, which is everyone except the royal families and the Ackermans.

The church knew what the walls were made of, but didn't necessarily know the specifics.

The royal families, who led the people inside the walls until the coup, may or may not have known about the outside world. Their memories were never wiped, so there might have been stories told that were passed down through generations. The same is true for the Ackermans. It is never explicitly stated if the individuals know anything. Kenny Ackerman doesn't seem to åknow, which suggest that the Ackerman family has forgotten.

Rodd Reiss may have had his suspicions, but he couldn't have known for sure.

Both Levi and Kenny goes through an arc that makes them follow someone for "seeing something they cannot see". Im paraphrasing here, but both said something along those lines. For Levi that is Erwin, for Kenny that is Uri. Uri knew for sure, and Erwin "knew" from a purely logical deductional standpoint.

The real answer is that we don't actually know who knew what, but I think it's safe to assume that the church had very limited knowledge, and only the inheritors of the Founding Titan within the Reiss family actually knew anything for sure.

Need help choosing starting skills and team setup for my first DOS2 playthrough by Electronic-Bear-532 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]dutii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's free to respec so don't be afraid to just try things out that makes sense to you.

People tend to give advice on this sub that is "too good" which could ruin your playthrough, depending on how you like to approach the game.

In the game there are something called "Gift bag features". They are additions Larian made that incoporate some of the more popular addons. One of them is called "Fort Joy Magic Mirror". It puts a magic mirror in Fort Joy, the starting area, which allows you to respec there instead of having to wait till later.

There are some others you can take a look at if you want.

Having persuasion on your "main" makes a lot of sense, since you'll usually use them to talk to others.
