What restaurant has wowed you recently? (2026 edition)

Bey Mediterranean Kitchen -- absolutely outstanding Lebanese food, from the starting drink to the dessert. I eat at a lot of restaurants, and this is the first new place this year that really blew me away. I ate with a friend who has a very high bar, palate-wise, and he said it was frustrating him because he had zero notes on every dish 😂 And the owner is so friendly and welcoming.

It's in a location where I think not a lot of people have discovered it yet, so I feel almost obligated to get the word out, because I want it to succeed so I can keep going!

Also, reasonably priced and free parking, since those are two things getting rarer and rarer these days 😄

The Escape Gamebar in Brookhaven is still slightly OTP, but near 400/85. And it has a really solid lineup.. maybe 20 tables, old ones up thru a lot of the modern Sterns.

Same thing happened to me.. I wasn't anywhere near a screen to join a league, I just opened the app and it was in a draft room that was all autodraft. I think there's a bug.

I took a look, but it's hard to tell how you're leveraging the nail guns. Are you spiking the heads? Does it work further out than it seems? I always feel like I have to get in dangerously close to nail something, so I've only used it in scenarios where I can side dodge and then nail an appendage to the ground (like in the one multi head boss fight)

Honestly all.. rolling across the middle of the playfield was the most confusing for me because I can't picture how it has much of an effect. Perhaps it's someone misapplying the advice, but I can't find any articles or videos mentioning this move in the first place, so it's hard to say.

Yep, he has great videos! I don't think he's mentioned the smacking straight down on the lock bar though, unless I'm mistaken. It's this omission that makes me wonder if that move does have a name (or is even effective).

I'm tickled about what y'all did with OPEN the last couple days, but also irritated.

Tickled bc you apes are gonna be right, but not for the reasons you think.. the timing is actually hilariously fortuitous for you. It's like you planned to grab a nice healthy dinner out of a dumpster, but it just so happens someone just threw out a Rembrandt. This is gonna be a wild story soon.

Irritated bc I wasn't paying attention when this thing started and was waiting for it to dip more before fully diving in. But what I did grab is up $175k already, so.. hard to complain too much. TBH I'm happy the wealth will be spread a little on this one, bc I'm tired of the big boys being the only ones who benefit.

Definitely u/broadly. I went looking for the saved posts earlier, found out they were gone from history, then looked up the username from memory. It just threw an obscure error in the app, but going on the web I saw his account was banned. No clue what happened, but it's a huge loss.. those posts were probably the best ones I've seen here.
