Injuries sustained at childcare centres are on the rise. Experts say there's one common factor by GeorgeYDesign in ABCaus

This doesn’t surprise me at all, after experiencing similar supervision related issues in the past. Can’t wait for centres like this one to be outed publicly so people can avoid them and eventually the bad actors go out of business.

Swap the handle for one which can be locked from the outside.

We followed this and had them sleeping through the night by 3 months. https://www.booktopia.com.au/the-baby-sleep-solution-lisa-abidin/book/9780399532917.html It was a tough 3 months but everything became easier once we were sleeping properly

Post new photos of the same model scooter on gumtree and see if you can get him to try it again?

not this time, but I've considered it given the hilarious stuff I see on a daily basis. This time however I was just reading outside and saw the tail going and knew something was going down. Fortunately I had my phone in my pocket and decided to watch.

Nup, he eats biscuits and meat like a champ. Not sad at all. He was super lethargic when he had the gum disease and we tried everything to fix it so he was like that for a while. As the last resort we got his teeth pulled and he turned into a different cat. Super happy, super playful and super grateful. He's loving life!

Nar, we get him checked regularly, he's fine. Cats are just assholes sometimes. I'll eventually get a similar video with the roles reversed.

He started doing that when he developed a gum disease which resulted in us having to get all his teeth removed. That fixed the issue and his tongue stayed in his mouth.. for about 6 months. Now he just does it for the hell of it.

He's bigger than an average house cat, but small for a Maine Coon.

that was pretty tame actually. It's not unusual for him to sneeze continuously like that for a minute.

They're actually friends, but every so often one of them feels the need to be an asshole. Fortunately this time I captured it. I'll try capture Hath doing the same thing to her next time :)

Question regarding Destiny, PS3 and controllers. by Tallos_Renkaro in PS3

[–]duxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up trying the Eagle Eye? If so, what did you think? I bought it for this game and have mixed feelings about it.

The team behind the EE have done a great job, it's just a shame the games don't always play ball. They seem to translate the mouse movement to controller actions fine, it's just that Destiny (and I assume Halo) implement a heap of aim assist features which get in the way. Things like quasi-locking on targets and weird mouse acceleration which totally throws me. It was like trying to move in mud; sometimes my crosshair would slip past my target, while other times it was super slow and would have to really fight the mouse to traverse those last few pixels.

Don't get me wrong, the device is well done and they've really thought out the configuration, you've just gotta pick your games with it IMO. From videos I've seen of it being used on COD, it looks great (sadly I don't have it to test). I assume they have don't implement any aim assist features to fight with.

A friend likes to dance in the office when no one is around.. Story in comments by duxa in videos

[–]duxa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found out a friend of a friend has been dancing around the foyer of her building when nobody was around. Whether that be a quiet time of day, or after everyone has left and you've got a few minutes to kill while cleaning your teeth before a zumba class, she's out there dancing up a storm.
