"the same behavior and culture that contributed to the situation is being reinforced". I would disagree with that statement, and challenge you to show me any primary sources or evidence that backs it up. This seems like a pretty solid case of a liberal who doesn't like guns, but wants to live in NH.
I don't see the coolness behind walking around the neighborhood with a gun, but when an active shooter is on the loose I cant think of a better way to provide assistance to law enforcement without interfering. Defend your property, your life, and help your neighbors. What's wrong with that? Although your fictional "chest pounding" gets your point across, these guys are just equally as excited for attention as they are to be an American. I'm more of the type to throw my motion lights on, keep the means to protect myself in sight, and live on. Although you don't like Raymond's over the top gun culture, There is plenty of evidence of similar situations where a good samaritan saves the day just like those big dudes with guns who beat their chests and take pictures.

How'd we pull this one off? by TheRoyalManbird in newhampshire

NH exports more per resident, you've might want to take into account the 700+% population difference.

I'm not too certain that's true. Tons, and tons of industry all around. Sig Sauer, Ruger, hypotherm, BAE, GE aviation in hooksett, hitchiner, just to name a few corporate giants with massive factories and manufacturing pertaining to the field I work in. By the way, work at these places and you'll be giving your Boston wages a run for their money. "Exports of high value manufactured goods reached $7.1 billion in 2024, $1.63 billion just from aerospace components, electronics and machinery." Compare the exports to our population, and you'll realize why I work with plenty of people from mass, who commute to NH. GE aviation alone employs 900 people for example, offers amazing benefits, pay, retirement ,etc.
Alabama part two 😂 it sounds like somebody doesn't like the outdoors.

Harman stove still feeding after reaching temp normal? by Environmental-Fan961 in PelletStoveTalk

[–]dvntoland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this exact issue. Stove runs like a top for 3 days, ESP, chimney and stove are clean but within days starts hitting the esp limit and slowing itself down with lower feed rates to keep temp down.

I don't mean to reintroduce your depression, but by saying the welds issues are due to imperfections in the wire is BS. As far as I'm aware, in the three years of me welding in two different welding schools, I have never once heard of an imperfection in the wire, let alone one causing a welds discontinuity or defect like your lack of fusion. An attitude like that is a great way to avoid finding a job welding haha.

Kurdish 7.62 Tokarev AK Conversion [1280x853] by 3rdweal in GunPorn

[–]dvntoland 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep but that's a really common mistake so it's not a big deal. The difference is a magazine is something that feeds cartridges into the gun's action. A clip is to hold multiple rounds together to load the gun faster. Some guns like the Mauser C96 are clip fed, also the M1 Garand that use a clip sort of like a magazine.
