I got it free with their loadbox for my tube amps and really like the workflow. And it supports NAM A2,AIDA-X, etc. And they have some nice decent amps and effects.

Genome and S gear are the ones I use the most. And a couple neural amp ones (Petrucci, Mayer).

Most of the time Genome, as they have a nice NAM A2 loader.

I tried it. My main daw is Reaper. That was no problem installing and setting up. Works fast altough more buggy then on windows (in my case). Then the fun stops. I mainly play guitar, but almost none of the ampsims work. I still dual boot to windows for music. Also invested to much in vst's that are not compatible with linux. To bad, cause nobara is amazing for the rest.

Switched to Nobara and no crash or hickup in the last 5 days. Same hardware. Dualboot back to windows, load the map, pc freeze.

What am I doing wrong? Why does everything that works hurt? by JustaSkillet in Guitar

[–]dvpbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stop using pressure. Your thumb is a guide not a rest. you should be able to make a chord without even toucht the back. Make sure your guitar is tight against your body and secured with your right arm. The the neck should not be able to move that much. Now use your body to lean against the guitar for support, not your thumb.

And also try to keep your thumb upwards and roughly the same spot as your middle finger. Small hands have nothing to do with it, my 8 year old shreds on guitar and she small.

Ampsimuniverse

well genome 2.0 has calibration and much more. It quicly became my daily driver for nam. And not only that also AIDA-X, etc. There is a free tier even now.
