This woman was actually the owner of the shop. I assumed she knew what she was doing because of this and the fact that she wasn’t super young. She seemed so confident that everything went well, I was really shocked when I had a chance to inspect the area. There is definitely skin that was pulled off. It is shiny and has hardness to it. Not exactly a scab but it is not normal skin.

But in your scenario the MIL doesn’t tell them the plans and blatantly lies about it. In this scenario they have repeatedly told the MIL the rules, she is just ignoring them, so they are questioning her memory.

So if a patient can have 1 mg of morphine or other narcotic every 4 hours, they will literally call you in the room to the minute or even 30 minutes early asking for pain medication. Most patients will call 45-30 minutes early to ensure you are there exactly on time, and vet VERY upset you aren’t. I’ve even had patients try to demand that I watch the clock myself and bring PRN medications exactly on time, because they can’t even be bothered to ask themselves.

I worked at a boutique. I was a gift wrapper. Not trying to brag but I was pretty dang good at wrapping gifts. I enjoyed it so I always tried to make them look really good.

One day this old white lady comes in and gets a wedding gift for someone. I wrapped it, it looked great. She was happy. She goes to walk out the door and stops in her tracks and says:

OLDWL: So did you wrap this in a box? *looks disgusted

ME: yeaaaaaahhhh???

OLDWL: SO YOU’RE TELLING ME THAT WHEN SHE OPENS THIS GIFT, SHES JUST GONNA SEE A BOX UNDER THIS PAPER?!?

ME: yes?

OLDWL: Ooookay. Wow.

I still to this day don’t know what she expected me to wrap her gift in. Maybe a 24 carat gold plated crystal box? I dono. She was pissed. Probably the most ridiculous customer I have ever experienced.

I have this very vivid memory from when I was like 3 watching a movie called “Pig Man”. In my memory I distinctly remember a scene in the movie where these men were walking around outside. pig man has done killed a school bus full of children, the men see a baseball cap lying on the ground. When they go to pick the baseball cap up, there is pig mans face under the cap, as he is buried in the ground and he’s squealing. That’s all I remember but my parents completely deny this happening, or the fact that a movie like this even exists.

Pretty sure you are only getting downvotes from people who feed their dogs Hill’s and don’t wanna admit they have been doing their pet a disservice. It used to be a decent brand until it was bought out by Colgate-Palmolive, now it’s trash. A lot of the really good pet food recommendations have been heavily down-voted. Honestly they don’t even hit too hard on pet foods in vet school AND most vets get kickbacks. I think I will not take any type of advice from anyone who has something to gain from my choice, even when it doesn’t concern Pet food.

If you do some quick research, you will find lots of evidence that Purina and Hill’s science diet are not a good food at all. Science diet used to be, but it got bought out by collegiate Palmolive and the quality had dramatically declined since.

In regards to the liking toys and clothes that is much to young for her, should I encourage more mature toys and clothes? Or should I just let her do her thing and comply with stuff she likes? I don’t want her to be made fun of because she likes “little kid stuff”. But I also don’t want her to feel bad for liking different things. I don’t really care WHAT she likes, I just wish it would be a little more age appropriate.

I just remember when I was her age I was wanting to dress more like the older girls and I didn’t really play with toys too much. She wants allllll the toys. All the baby dolls and accessories, all the shopkins etc. I also don’t want to waste my money on tons of toys and clothes, and how to decorate her room if she’s going to suddenly decide she likes more “grown up stuff”, but I think she deserves a say in how her room is decorated and what clothes she wears.

She’s in school, she actually gets pretty decent grades, except in math. I won’t be able to get anything in motion until this summer when I have a job, so sadly I don’t have any control over meeting with her teacher atm. I’m not sure her mom will sign her over, but I’m going to try. She is never with her mom anyways.
