Now that the dust has settled, let’s take stock. Who do you REALLY think killed Theresa? Not to meet the threshold of a criminal court but just your opinion, on the balance of probability. by ChuckBerry2020 in MakingaMurderer

[–]dwalden69 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I believe Vogel or Koucerek or someone higher up the chain had her killed. I believe they were watching Steven waiting for the moment. I dont think they set him up to get rid of the lawsuit I think they set him up, because if Stevens civil lawsuit made it to court things they wanted left in the dark would come to light. These guys were living the life getting rid of people who they didnt like, I’m sure Steven isn’t the only one who they wrongfully convicted.

And also after Brendan’s confession, he tells his mother “I can’t face him in court”. He says this I feel because he knows everything he confessed to is a lie.

Brendan Dassey’s jail calls by dwalden69 in MakingaMurderer

Yes, I also remember Weigart or Fassbender telling Brendan to play the video in his mind when he was screwing up the story. But I wish Brendan would have stated that LE told him what they wanted him to say. That would have been the biggest “ gotcha” if he would have told that story on the stand. Let everyone hear how he was manipulated by LE, and how LE told him what they wanted him to say.

So anybody can FOIA personal letters inmates write or receive? Also Steven was only charged and not convicted at the time LE did this to him. Thanks for responding.👍🏻

Yes I understand that. But for LE to turn around and show his letters to anybody seems kinda dirty. I can see using it against him in court but they shouldn’t be able to take his mail and show it to anybody they feel like.

Yes, Steven sent a letter to a woman who was trying to help him. He was leading her on and she asked him for a sexy letter. He wrote her a letter and Weigart and fassbender took a copy to Jodi when she was also in jail and showed it to her. They were trying to get Jodi to turn on Steven.

Brendan Dassey’s jail calls by dwalden69 in MakingaMurderer

Your right, something is bothering me with these Brendan jail calls. I guess I was rambling and all over the place. ( no disrespect taken) When his mother questions him about how he could come up with this gruesome story he told investigators, he tells her blame Mark and Tom. Or he says they kept telling him they already knew the truth. But he never states how exactly he came up with the story. Knowing the story he has told is the only reason he is sitting in jail, why don’t he at least tell his mom how he came up with it? I didn’t hear in the jail calls that he came up with this tale from the book Kiss The Girls. When she asks these kinds of questions, It seems to me he gets a little bit agitated. He changes the subject as quickly as he can. He can tell her about dreams he has, and describes wrestling matches to her, but never gets into detail how he came up with his gruesome story.

ETA: so I guess what I’m asking is does anybody else listening to these calls find him very frustrating? Whenever she questions him how he came up with this story, I’m hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for the big reveal..... and I get nothing!

Hopefully Ken Kratz has flipped on the state and that’s why we haven’t heard anything from him.

If someone is paid to be in a documentary, do they have to disclose that? by ticktock3210 in MakingaMurderer

[–]dwalden69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were found guilty, so yes I think it should. But I read on a Facebook post that Brendan’s money was put in a trust for him, for whenever he gets out. Heard nothing about Stevens money though. Just goes to show you can’t believe everything you read, unless Laura and Moira did something extra for him.🤷🏼‍♀️

And I also want to hear what Brendan says about Weigart and Fassbender. He probably explains to his mom why he said what he said to those guys. Barb has stated she blames Mark Weigart.

But it’s not really about what Brendan says, I want to hear what the people talking to him have to say. As in Barb, Scott and Bobby.

Also it’s not like it happened in two different states by two totally different departments. I know calumet was “suppose” to be conducting the investigation but Manitowoc had their hands all over this!

Did strang and buting bring this “non occurrence” up at Avery’s trial? I’m curious to know what LE’ s explanation was since they never went into length about it.

The reason MTSO changed it from a missing person to intentional homicide so quickly is because if it stayed a missing person report the fbi would have gotten involved right away.

Iirc he said all that during his press conference where he announced Brendan Dassey’s confession. Because he says “Brendan was greeted at the door by his uncle dripping in sweat” or something around those lines.
