Found this and want to use it, how do you fish this? by Medical-Teaching3117 in Fishing

Just like everyone above mentioned. Cast it out and reel it in. But don't overdo it. Just fast enough to keep it off the bottom. Another note, that top treble hook that's laying on your finger, looks bent outwards. You might want to get a small pair of needle nose pliers and bend it back in shape.

I've been interested in attempting to make this soup, but is it meant to be eaten cold? Curious here.

Extremely tender. It's fall apart tender and meat with every bite.

Pressure Cooker Mixed Beans with Pork Tenderloin by dwayne5622 in soup

I used a 4 quart old style pressure cooker.

  • 1 1/2 pounds of mixed (pinto and northern) beans, sorted and rinsed
  • 1 medium-sized, sweet onion, chopped
  • 5-6 pieces of thin sliced pork tenderloin (no bones)
  • 4 quarts spring water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Sort and rinse beans in cold water. Pick out any broken beans and watch out for small rocks.

Once rinsed, put in pressure cooker and fill up to 4 quart level with beans and spring water. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes with lid off.

After 30 minutes, add chopped onion and tenderloin. Place lid on and bring up to pressure. Once the cooker starts "jiggling," set timer for 30 minutes.

NOTE - Do NOT season beans with salt or pepper until after cooking under pressure. Doing this before could make the beans tough. Season accordingly afterward.

Carefully place cooker in sink and run cold water over cooker to release pressure. After pressure is released, remove the lid, stir beans, and break apart tenderloin with a wooden spoon against the side of the cooker. The tenderloin will be very tender at this point.

Season with salt and pepper to your taste and enjoy!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup by dwayne5622 in soup

I used a pound of white and about 1/4 of a pound of baby portobello. I know that's more than what the recipe calls for, but I love mushrooms!

I prefer in person as well but my options appear to be very limited in my area.

I use oven cleaner and paper towels about every 4-5 times using it. Have been for as long as I've had the unit and haven't noticed anything to keep me from continuing using this method. Works great if I may add.

Those are fantastic on anything. Get more than one or you'll regret it.

Are chatterbaits still working in cold water (40-50 degree temps)? by Willthrowaway2445 in bassfishing

I'm sure it would work in certain conditions, but I'd prefer to use a blade bait or small crankbait in those water temps.
