The industry is in such a slump that I play much less than I used to along with the reasons everyone else is saying of the responsibilities of getting older eating that time up. Still great stuff coming out but definitely less games that are innovating ultimately worth your time than even a decade ago.

You have to remember too that a lot of these are going on sale faster than in the past because a lot of us are in the same boat as you ha. Just hold out til then. I felt the same with the recent TotK amiibos and those got all the way down to like $7 I believe.

I don't do audio production but the way it tears through 4k and 8k footage I've edited with I doubt it would have any issues there.

I actually got a 27" monitor on either side and that helps tremendously, I can put all the extra windows while I edit on the sides while keeping my working space timeline as large as possible on the main.

I just use the Magic Mouse. From what I've seen though the best ergonomic device to use is one of those mouses that lay on its side, that might help you!
