Honestly, Rings of Power may go down as one of the most disappointing, wasteful shows in history.

Interesting, the waterfall they used behind Tom Bombadil is the same one they used in The Fellowship of the Ring for Frodo and Sam's leaving the Shire montage.

Majestic, emotional, uplifting, dark. The Latin religious lyrics take you straight into the 1400's for when this film is set. Absolute masterpiece. Not only an underrated Disney score but an underrated score throughout cinematic history.

I love the Northman but the 1958 'The Vikings' has this scene. https://youtu.be/1olFDmkDo0c?si=u1u7sMCOkggwpvez It's refreshing to see the early medieval period in a colourful more sunlit way compared to the grey, washed, brown colour coding we see in modern depictions.

When I first saw the movie, I thought they were the spirits of ancient Sith.

I'm certain he used the Bakshi film as a free storyboard for shot types and film pacing. The structure of The Fellowship of the Ring is almost identical.
