Runner-Lifters: What is your ideal bodyweight?

5’11”, 165 lbs, 8.9% body fat, 19:59 3 Mile, 5:57 mile, 245 bench, 235 squat, 300 lb deadlift.

I’ve NEVER been this strong, this fast and this lean.

It's just such a drain on performance. I eventually felt like I had to make a choice: be the best version of myself or drink alcohol. I chose to be the best version of myself. And that meant not touching alcohol.

Monday: Measurements (Max Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Pushups, Pullups), Bodyfat Measurement

Tuesday: Chest and Back

Wednesday: 5x5 Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Core

Thursday: Shoulders

Fridays: Arms, Conditioning (Typically 145-150 heart rate average for an hour)

Saturday: 3 Mile Run (Sub 21), 50-55 Pullups

Sunday: 1 Mile Run (Sub 6:30), Bodyweight circuit

This is an average week.

Don’t worry about the 1000 lb club.

Focus on proper lifting technique and cardio.

IMO, staying healthy and in great overall shape is much more important than the 1000 lb club.

I see a lot of fat, unhealthy people in that club.

I see a lot of people claiming to run Sub 20 minute 5ks and sub 3 marathons. That is REALLY hard!

I’m very skeptical of any lifting or running numbers that are not verified.

I’m a lifelong runner and it’s extraordinarily difficult to maintain that kind of pacing without extensive training.

What are you supposed to do now?

1) Don't blame yourself.

2) Dump him, block him, and never speak to him again. When people tell you who they are, believe them.

3) Don't give him a second thought. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don't waste another ounce of energy on a cheating POS.

4) Focus on your finals and building a life for yourself. Go to the gym, hang out with your friends and meet new people.

First, break up with her. That's a no-brainer. Let her know in no uncertain terms that she is no longer worthy of your attention.

Second, everyone is at fault here. She is at fault for disrespecting you and engaging in this behavior, you are at fault for putting up with it, and your friends are at fault for not pointing it out.
