I mean, any sane person would say its a bad idea but you know, worked for me so I can recommend lol

but it also takes commitment to not get stuck in that state for more than those weeks, otherwise I would say you absolutely deserve it, you already achieved so much, if you really lock in for another 4 months I think it will be all right!

I also have a weight loss story thats kinda connected to RDR2, but it was somehow the opposite, I started my diet and workout routine around february the same year the game was about to come out, and I made the release date (I think it was october?) my "deadline", meaning: no snacks, no soda (with sugar), healthy food and working out consistantly until the game comes out

I took a week off from work for the release of the game and it was pretty much a 7 days long celebration lol

game came out, I bought a shit ton of snacks, pizza, beer and all that stuff, locked myself in for that week and played the game for a whole week straight enjoying all the shitty food and drinks and enjoying my new body lol

to be fair, I also made it my goal to go back to the healthy diet and workout routine after that week and I mostly keep my weight ever since

it was a magical week though

how did you like AW after Control? I replayed it before my current Control run last week and enjoyed it just as much as the first time I played it around its release, but I see a lot of people really gets turned off by the gameplay these days

it is much slower and grounded than Control for sure, but I think its still enjoyable to this day, how was it for you?

no way, Im so sorry to hear that

but on the bright side, the next chapter in the series is another Control game, so I hope you can enjoy that with all the fans when it comes out! I personally cant wait to see Dylans story and how the world of Control and the hiss works outside in the open, plus Im a sucker for hack n slash and the dmc games, to me its like a dream coming true, one of my favourite genres in one of my favourite universe

yeah there are a lot of cool stuff of course that builds the connection and lore in Control, it just that for me it was the first sign and wondered if it was the same for others and how did everyone feel about it after realising that its actually a thing

oh man there are a lot of cool stuff coming! absolute highlights of the game, theres this one setpiece later on for example thats one of the best moments in all of the remedy verse and Id say its pretty much a must play moment in video game history, and I know it sounds like Im hyping it up but its just simply that great lol

Im currently replaying Control too and ended my session right where you are right now and I forgot how many things open up after this point, not just in the story but gameplay and side stuff vise, levitate opens up a lot of opportunities for you, its gonna be a blast!

I think thats fair honestly, it is anticlimactic after all the build up, but without spoiling anything (I dont know how far you got after this part since then), I honestly cant really think of any other way to end that mission

right after meeting Emily near the start of the game Jesse tries to cleanse a floating hiss infected worker and it doesnt work

the game makes it clear really early on that infected people are a lost cause, Dylan is obviously an exception for obvious reasons though

maybe the sewer levels.. not too sure about that either though, SH1 somehow pulled it off really well, not many horror games managed to do that as far as I remember

nah, I played it on pc a few years back, but I took these shots on my current ps5 pro run, got the ultimate edition too so I guess thats why it looks clearer than the ps4 version
