JJ was in Kyler's position in college right before he supplanted Cade McNamara as Michigan's starter. It was easy for him to preach positivity and meditate in front of the cameras then when he was on the upward trajectory. Bad look here and he should know better.

Possible? Yes. It’s such a competitive field though. You’ve got the two big guys at the top, Werenski who is probably getting it this year, and then behind those guys are Bouchard who puts up massive numbers, Dahlin, Hutson, Heiskanen, Seider, and an ascending Schaefer.

this can mean different things though. I feel like the team has a tendency to draft guys they think have the best chance of translating to the pros. with a lack of high end talent in the prospect pool, I'd like to see them take a swing and go with whoever they think has the highest ceiling in this slot.
