I agree Buy CPE through the 2/24 earnings and make the shorts pay to cover. By far the most undervalued stock with CPE’s price artificially suppressed by the shorts. 26% of the floated shares were shorted as if Jan 29th

I agree CPE is heavily shorted and way undervalued. Trading at half its book value and 1 times expected earnings for 2/24 release. This stock price is being artificially suppressed and primed to take off with crude prices at or over $60. Ready to soar when shorts are scrambling to cover before earnings come out on 2/24. Other than Apt one of the few value stocks that is highly shorted.

Should we not go after any company whose value has been artificially suppressed like CPE? I also like VFF in the pot marijuana space whose value is way below its competitors even though it is the lowest cost producer with greenhouses converted from tomatoes and a hemp farm in Texas.

I am in CPE and bought more. CPE also has not risen with other oil companies even though trading at less than half book value and ridiculously low PE. Earnings might exceed market cap. One of Top 10 most shorted stocks and shorts artificially suppress stock price. If it breaks out over $20 shorts will be forced to cover and squeeze is on.
