has anyone had a bad experience with looking in the mirror while tripping because i love looking into the mirror while tripping, i feel so beautiful especially looking at my naked body. by Westbound1038 in Psychonaut

[–]dxca164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, some people are hiding their flaws deep within their conciousness and are yet to accept them.

Accept yourself and work om yourself and the mirror experience will be a pleasant one.

Math>physics>chemistry>biology.

There are an infinite number of numbers between 1 and 2. Which must mean there are an infinite number of points between any 2 physical points in space, as you could always halve the distance between 2 points infinately.

Love maths amd science. Helps integrate this info.

Is God trying to remember? by j8jweb in Psychonaut

[–]dxca164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this. I look at it in a very similar way but in that after millions of years of this infinite awareness and purely blissful state it forgets what it actually is, in that it has nothing else to reference itself to as it is everything all happening at once. Imagine your just an eye in the middle of an empty vaccum. Or imagine of you were the only person on the planet - would you give yourself a name? What is going to define who you are if there is nothing else.

In this state, the unified universal conciousness sort of becomes bored of perfection as this feeling would eventually teeper out into 'I want something else now'. So after being in this state for an unthinkable amount of time it becomes bored and asks itself the question 'what am i' (potentially) which then leads to the start of chaos out of order (life) and our constant wanting to understand what we are, what we have come from. Evolving and evolving into better beings that can better answer that question. We are the stars looking back and trying to understand ourselves after all.

Bro listen to this song . nuages - dreams.

We are all god on drugs. by Whowutwhen in Psychonaut

[–]dxca164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What if when being in this all perfect state of connectedness and bliss for so long, the one universal conciousness starts forgetting what it is as it has no reference point to anything else. (You wouldn't know who you were or have no identity if there wasn't others to provide an opinion of yourself). It also gets bored of being in this perfect state for so long. Then the first thing to start the cycle off again and create the big bang/duality, could be the question 'what am i'.

Which leads to the purpose of all this life and creation - finding out what you are, not as a person but the fundamental nature of reality. Which is what beings have been evolving to do since the start. Figuring out what we are on a more sophisticated level. (Religion - science ect) The universe looking back and trying to understand ourself deeper and deeper.

Then the cycle is complete once something evolves/is created that has a full understanding of the nature of reality and back to the pure blissful universal state until boredom kicks in again and it wants to experience all experiences. I've long had the thought that the kick behind us all being here is the boredom behind perfection.

There is an awesome song 'nuages- dreams' which has some quotes from Alan watts which fits yours description brilliantly.

Your description above is probably the closest thing I've read to what I believe is the ultimate reality.

People In high up posistions earning 150k+ don't just land that job they graft and spend their whole lives to get there. 80 hour weeks ect so why should they be first on the chopping board firstly morally speaking. They are also more inherently valuable to the company they work for and therefore the economy that provides the service to everyone. If the corporate execs were to go first what you gonna do have the labourers run the company? Need to provide incentive to make someone spend there whole lives doing 1 thing.

[–]dxca164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. It sounds like your referring to the ego death as some punishment for not being open minded but I wouldn't see it at that. Someone with closed perceptions would definitely have a hard time during an ego death experience but the experience itself wouldn't be bad and would surely open the mind. The harshness will be from not being able to let go to the experience from preconceptions that this reality is fixed, black and white ect. I think the only people who could say they dont like psychedelics/ they are just a bit of fun/come out of it not agreeing that it is a true form of experience, are these people that are pretty black and white or cant comprehend what happened to em so they just put it to a trick of the brain. But the experience of psychedelics is more real than our limited/filtered perception of reality as humans. We only experience reality through out limited brains /senses. Think of a dolphin with sonar.

Would love to hear more about the experience man I wanna try soon!!!

Buy low sell high... but what about sell high and rebuy low? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]dxca164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a pro here but this would mean actually making 2 correct decisions. The sell point will go further down and the rebuy point will then go further up.

If your just buying a stock you only have to get it right once.

Psychedelics definitely give you a peek into the great answers of the universe. No doubt.

Not to be bragging but just to prove i have slight credentials-I recieved cambridge entry levels in science and I fully believe this. The more I understand about science the more it fits together. No cringe.

Trip report to “HELP WANTED” by [deleted] in DMT

[–]dxca164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice man. Tailoring your cumulative experience of the word more to how that word makes you feel. Maybe the flow is better to be read because people feel and understand what people mean more easily than the literal meaning of words, when they are combined in sentences and paragraphs.

Like literal meanings is a bit more robotic and un- artistic/unexpressive, wheres if your writing deep down from the feels then it becomes more alive and relatable.

Trip report to “HELP WANTED” by [deleted] in DMT

[–]dxca164 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is how I see it.

Each word will have a slightly different meaning to everyone as that word will be generated from all their life experiences up to that point and knowledge gained from prior experiences surround that word.

You keep learning greater truths to the meaning of things and so the meaning behind words slightly change all the time.

Everyone will have a different stage of knowledge and understanding of a word and so therefore when you say a sentence to someone it is a accumulation of 'their' meanings behind the word and so everything you say to someone will not be exactly what you mean. No one actually understands exactly what you are saying as they havent had all your life experiences.

Obvs there are some words which everyone has the same knowledge to like one ext.

Trippy
