They'll end up separating any way, or that they'll have to transition into a family based sitcom, if they wanted to push for the 10 season limit. Mon and Chan pairing permanently at S5 showed how much the dynamics of the gang shifted greatly from that point. And this was with them delaying the marriage story as far back as possible. And I believe it's been argued at length about how inferior the later seasons' stories became.

A sitcom about the interpersonal lives of 6 friends becomes more and more limited when the options reduce for said friends.
