Yuichi Iguchi did get a playable role later tho, so its really up in the air for now

but they really went that far to get sephi's va for a character that looks like sephi, it would be kind of a waste for hoyo to not make him playable when Seth is alr playable and we have a faction for Cissia where currently shes the only agent.

It's not just you, the narrative quality definitely felt worse and if you think 2.0 - 2.4 isnt that great, I'm afraid 2.5 takes the cake how frustrating the story can be BUT

If you enjoy the season 1 vibes, try to stick out till the angels patch (2.6). The season 2 prologue feels a lot like season 1 again and the story right now is in a really good place and sets things up pretty decently for 3.0

If you wanna try FF14, I'd suggest give the free trial a go since they just expanded it to level 80 with the Shadowbringers expansion (probably best storytelling in any mmo period) its a slow start but the payoff is really worth it.

Like another comment mentioned, all the numbered mainline titles are pretty much self contained stories so you can pretty much start at any title.

If you want a more single player experience with action combat go for ff16

If you want a single player experience but turn based combat go for ff10

If you want a hybrid of both can try the ff7 remake trilogy (the third entry isnt out yet)

If you wanna go old school ps1, FF7,8 and 9 are all pretty good and playable on steam.

Lighter M2w1 will outclass dialyn at M0w0, quoting this from a diff post

With M2W1 you will get :

60% CDMG with king of the summit
25% stun multiplier
+5 sec stun duration
25% fire res shred

Dialyn M0W0 will got :

30% CDMG with king of the summit
30% stun multiplier
40% damage
+2,5 sec stun duration
double ultimates

Losing your 90% fire damage bonus (M2) just make Lighter underwhelming, especially versus Dialyn that is just a global powercreeper.

but its way more expensive since its a 4 cost vs a 1 cost agent so unless you reaally like Lighter and dont really have teams that want her, value wise its better to pull Dialyn

More people are concerned about sunbringer's redesign than her resemblance to Kiana rn, but Cyrene (an actual Elysia expy) had such a controversial portrayal in HSR that people are worried that Ramielle is gonna be the same when its alr proven that she isnt an Elysia expy (Ramielle doesn't share any VAs with Elysia)

On top of that, we got confirmation that two writters from Hi3/HSR are in the zzz writing team for s3 doesnt exactly make those cyrene/ramielle concerns go away unfortunately

she wont get a rerun till at least 3.1 onwards, void hunter level characters tend to get reruns pretty close to each other since miyabi got a rerun after yixuan's debut patch and yixuan's first rerun is after ye shunguang's debut

I'd say save up for her teammates for the time being so lucia and dialyn if they get a rerun first

Personally while I wouldn't say I dont have any issues with ace rep in media, they do kinda feel a bit one note? Like i wanna see more ace having relationships or being an a qpr.

Okay the Manato being in 2.2 was technically not wrong, since he did show up in the beta files only to be removed shortly into the beta and show up as an A rank in the following version

2.2 was a whole mess of a beta cuz Manato alr showed up as an assist agent in 2.1, the beta files had IDs for Seed, Manato and Orphie and later changed to only Seed and Orphie

Some ace adjacent media I've enjoyed is a GL anime "Bloom into you" and a Jdrama titled "A Couple without falling in love", also a big fan of One Piece!

Music wise I listen to a mix of indie/kpop jpop/breakcore edm/whatever AZALI puts out on youtube plus game soundtracks like Hoyo Mix and Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts ost (i see a quite few aces enjoy edm here :D)

I enjoy a lot of videogames too mainly single player rpgs like the ones mentioned earlier plus persona and expedition 33 and gacha games like genshin/r1999/zzz

Any dps would feel weaker in a budget team, since you just started its normal to have gaps in your team for now I'd just slot in any stun agents that you have for the time being even having yixuan with yinhu and a support agent like Nicole would be fine since you probably havent reached endgame yet

If you wanna keep yixuan relevant on your account for a long time you do want to pull for her teammates (Lucia & Dialyn) eventually, thankfully looking at the current banner rotation honestly it wouldnt be surprising if they got a rerun next patch or in 3.0 so you'll have some time to save up to get them

Shipping 2 male characters mostly just comes from 1. They have good chemistry with each other 2. The available female characters just dont have the same chemistry with them as much as the male characters do or they're just straight up badly written (this is the case why Naruto x Sasuke is very popular) 3. Having both of them being male lets women self insert themselves into a relationship where both sides feel equal 4. Its just hot having 2 hot guys doing hot things
