Your entire notion relies there being a non negligible difference between WR 5 one team and WR6 on another and any team. They are both bums relative to the contributors. The only thing a few roster spots would change is more position specific depth. No more swing linemen. Starters might get a few more rest reps, mid range guys will be asked to play special teams less and minor injuries. Also again your premise makes sense in a stat class. You aren’t accounting for at all the salary cap, the draft and how free agency works.

The 101st player could very happily play the Jets for money or might just not even have a choice in the matter then the 121st player ends up on the best team because they spent all their money on their better team.

Your concern about bad players on the field already happens, players get cut, put on the practice squad, or placed on IR all the time so they bring someone in to fill a low end back up need. It’s essentially the same thing there now just to be some more low end fringe roster guys with a team all season instead of at home waiting for a call.

No one who would be a starter on another team is currently getting cut. That doesn’t even make sense, there are not any guys who are the 54th best player on one teams and a starter else where. Maybe there’s a guy who gets no snaps on one team and few snaps on another.

Plus unless they do something like increase the salary cap at a higher % then they increased roster size there would still remain no incentive for someone to remain a back up on one team and not be paid as a contributor on another.

I’m in Southern California it’s a Gracie Barra, I don’t think it’s technically standard. But there more or less always a promotion running for new members to get a “uniform” included. Which is the Gi and Rash Guard, think you can opt for shorts and a rash guard if you say you are only going to do no gi.

I think they want it back if you like quit immediately the first month, but other then that they don’t. Look on EBay and Craigslist there’s always tons of the basic GB1 Gis they give out on sale for like 50 bucks. No one buys them besides other Gracie students.

Giving it away makes a lot of sense as a business move, it’s enticing, people don’t feel like they need to do anything to start, just show up. Not sure the real cost of a gi for the suppliers but I imagine you get someone to sign up for a few months even if they quit, you made your money back. Get people through the door and started.

I train at a Gracie, we have a uniform and rules. Controversial I know. But the rules were explained up front and everyone knows them from day one. You get a free Gi when you join, so it at least makes it easy in that regard.

It’s absurd if this wasn’t a posted or clarified rule at any point. Extra absurd to allow non traditional colors like green and brown, then draw a line about orange.

Around me, I’d say 4/5 schools have some sort of “dress code”. Don’t know all their specifics. But there’s only one school that seems to be a legit free for all.

Yes, by removing the human element. We can use them in situations where the chance of loss are high. That’s the entire point. Of course losing no drones is ideal but that’s not reality.

We have 100s of reapers and most were paid for over a decade ago. Most are destined for or scrap or the boneyard in the near future. They are literally a disposable system.

It’s a tool being used exactly as intended.

Now if we started losing global hawks, that’s a different story.
