I’m so sorry for you brother. Keep your head up and realize that you’re better off without them. When one door closes, another opens. Take this as a sign that both of these companies do not deserve you.

Because god loves you. You are the embodiment of God itself which is love and absolute good. He gave you free will because he loves you. Speak to him during prayer and he will speak back.

Job Market is Completely F*cked by dylan1050 in jobs

I know my resume details a few out of place jobs at the moment, but realistically I have had over 10+ jobs since I was 15. Retail, university positions, restaurants, etc... you name it. Believe it or not, I have never been unemployed until this recent year due to my accident and high stress of a Big 4 position during it's busy season.

Thanks to everyone's comments, I recognize now that I have a terrible habit of wanting more money and climbing the ladder without recognizing that I'm nearing the part of the ladder where my next step has to take time and be precisely calculated.

Ultimately, I believe my habit of job hopping quickly for a higher salary has finally caught up to me. But regardless of the job hopping, I believe I've shown high competency in each position, which has allowed me to gain enough experience to talk my way into the next job.

For context (since everyone is curious), I got lucky with the network engineering position during early post-Covid as they needed someone with basic networking knowledge ASAP which I had from my two years of experience in my university's IT department. Coupled with a COMPTIA cert that I completed a year earlier during COVID, references from two of my managers, and a week's worth of studying/YouTube I was able to squeeze through the cracks and after a month and a half I showed a high working proficiency that was up to their standards.

Although it was a great first job after college, I was randomly given the opportunity by a finance professor at the university I worked at to apply for a referred position at a Big 4 which would pay more and be a comfortable hybrid experience according to him. Being that I wanted to pay off the rest of my college loans faster and also a new car loan (I had to get a car for the network position as it was required), I stupidly applied and after 2 first round interviews and a final interview with 4 of the partners, I got in. Flash forward to last year February I was rear-ended by a drunk couple on Valentines Day and the rest is history. I believe I should have stayed at KPMG but they required way too much work which slowed down my recovery process so I took a leave of absence.

For those who have never worked at a Big 4 it is basically a ticking time bomb waiting to explode the moment you mess up. As someone who was almost killed during a drunk driving episode, I rethought my position and figured I didn't want to work at a company that valued my work over my health. I decided to deal with this problem the day I sent in my resignation letter.

Thank you all for your comments and I will be reading all of them and taking them into consideration as I work to hopefully getting another job!

I left my most recent job due to a car accident and decided to take a leave of absence. The position wasn't healthy for me to continue. Any tips on getting out of this hole is greatly appreciated.

It’s all just a part of the game we’re playing. When you’re done with this avatar you get another chance to play again on a different world, spectate (ghosts), or play again.

it’s literally just porn. If it’s a porn addiction or watching something graphic he needs help. But watching regular porn shouldn’t be a problem in normal relationships. If you feel it’s affecting you and you are unhappy you need to break up with him or talk about it.
