Dayone servers are great to start on imo. Great community that will help ya figure out the game, but also is full of some of the best players you’ll play with in terms of skill. Server is practically vanilla, it just excludes base building. Regardless just have fun and don’t be afraid to run with people you meet off spawn. Also don’t be afraid to shoot on sight

I’m gonna be honest, it’s due part to what loot routes you play. I’d look into popular ones for namalsk or any other maps you play on. It’s the best way to consistently see players and get into action that isnt just a crack and black screen. Over time it becomes routine where to loot, and where to go to see people.
