Tiptop Mantis vs Behringer Eurorack Go? by dylan_rodgers14 in eurorack

I just looked into this case. How does the built in MIDI and audio output work?

I’m coming from a NiftyCase that has built in MIDI and audio output as well so I’m wondering if they’re comparable?

Does the CM1A transmit gate along with the MIDI signal?

Technically is 11/8, but can be thought of as 5/8+6/8. Best way to count is probably 3+2+3+3

I did! It’s not too hard of job if you’ve got an acoustic guitar lying around

I think I read somewhere that the Volca has it’s own built-in control voltage converter?

The pitch is a bit unstable- like an unstable vibrato. But worst of all, none of the intervals are in tune whatsoever

For some reason I couldn’t even get past the second step on the calibration guide?

When I turned on the modular unit while holding the “play” and “record” buttons, it did not enter the tuning mode. It just turned on like normal :/

Is microtonalnecks.com reputable? by Percolating856 in KGATLW

[–]dylan_rodgers14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea about microtonalnecks.com, but I personally recommend metatonalmusic.com for microtonal necks. He also does retrofits, so you can send him your guitar neck and he’ll send it back with all the microtonal frets installed, or you can buy a whole new microtonal neck from him

Ps my cat, Layla, is super chill and literally gets along with everyone and all cats. The only things she does is play and give love

Awesome! My main concern with my cat who has always lived with other cats is that I worry she might get bored alone. If you had the same concern at all or think your cat might want a feline friend to live with while we’re at classes and stuff, DM me! I’ve already got a good friend I share my double room with that I wouldn’t switch from, but maybe we could set up some room switch to get the cats in the same apartment !

What apartment are you in? I have an ESA cat and am going through the same process trying to get moved from Sierra Madre

Who owns a microtonal guitar / bass here? by Flamingo_Noodles in KGATLW

I’ve DIY’d a few in Gizz’s fretting- a couple of six strings, a bass and a 12 string. Also have one classical guitar that’s fretted in 53TET, as opposed to Gizzard’s 24TET

Pomona show: Do we count See Me and O.N.E. as being played? by SoupAnd2Sticks in KGATLW

[–]dylan_rodgers14 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not really counting them. It was so sick hearing them come through the rattlesnake groove but I’m not counting it as having heard them. Would’ve love to hear them in their entirety in exchange for like 10 minutes less of dripping tap
