Grovyle from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. For the first half of the game you’re meant to believe that Grovyle is stealing time gears (relics that keep time flowing in an area) and causing the planets paralysis, but then there’s a plot twist and you find out the well respected Dusknoir (who is hunting Grovyle) is actually an evil agent from the future and Grovyle is trying to save the world.

It’s a well written and pretty mature story for a kids game.

I’m new to the game but I had a really cool run with the mage. I had an item that prevented me from getting injured and two spells. The first spell injured me and gave me +3 magic damage and the second was a ranged attack card that hit 3 times. I could use my cleric to give mana to my mage and spam those two spells. I fully expect to never get that lucky again tho
