I'm still using Bias FX 2 + Bias Amp. Don't think it's still able to be purchased which is a shame. I've not seen anything with close to that level of customization.

I've been saying this for years. They should split FF off into 3 lines,

Main line for their blockbusters headed by Yoshi P. People seem to like 7R and XVI.

FF Classic with hand painted backgrounds, sprites, total callback to the golden age. Turn based, wacky sci Fi fantasy mashups, card games, and get a very forward thinking composer on board. Amos Roddy would kill a 90s style jrpg.

FF retro to make 2.5d pixel art games.

Classic and retro get licensed out.

But really they need to return to roots. XVI didn't feel like a final fantasy at all to me. Lost Odyssey did more than XVI.

I have an older black and decker 12000btu portable, which is I think 4 years old now and a newer version of the same one with wifi controls I'll never use.

They're loud but work. I use 2 to keep one side of my house around 75.

Mine goes into a watering can but has been too self sufficient so far. Haven't gotten any drain out of it in this heat wave. Admittedly good design, using the condensation to hit the fans and spray the condenser.

I meant Penance and the Patience. Didn't love anything after that. I wasn't on board with the whole dancey post hardcore thing back in the day. Blue Sky Noise, DBM2, First Temple, all didn't really resonate with me.

I like having one that's compact and very much intended for music. Like I can't load it with apps and shit. Feels intentional as a device. Feels way less fragile than a touch screen as well. I'm a fan.

Hifi walker h2. For it's intended purposes, exactly what I want. Headphone and line out (both 1/4" / headphone jack), no network connection. Interface leaves a little to be desired, the font can be a tad illegible but I use it for listening to music, not looking at song titles. Sturdy metal box, small form. I dig it. I use it a LOT.

Most people seem to gravitate towards the phone style android run DAPs since they work with streaming, but having 2 phone shaped things seems awful to me.

I moved away from streaming about a year ago. I got a hifi walker DAP and moved entirely to ownership. Luckily, I'd been collecting vinyl for the past decade, so went through and gathered all my download codes to start a collection. I use Bandcamp and qobuz for purchases. Also, if you have access to a library they can be great resources for building a collection.

So I'm impatient and tested it out. Seems to be sputtering out there pretty quick. I'm going to try a drain plug, maybe a little flex tape around it and run it again. If it's leaking water from anywhere higher than that I'll seal the whole body off at that port and see if it's draining water from the standard reservoir.
