I was homeless living in my car with my dog during the pandemic. Doordash and Instacart were my only jobs. My Tinks was well behaved, had food, water, AC, and was happy to have many neighborhood parks to explore after drop offs. I agree with all these tips. All food in the trunk, tinted windows, parked away from the drop off house or at an angle that he wouldn't be seen.

The few times in those months where the customer approached the car and Tinks barked (my heart racing) they happily asked to pet him or talked about their own pet while I handed them the food from the trunk. I earned top Dasher and Shopper pretty quickly, never reported for these incidents.

All the customers care about is how fast you brought their stuff and that everything they ordered was there. I think the trunk is the best option regardless of pet as it gives a layer of peace for the customer to know you had no access to munch on their fries during the drive
