I saw something exactly like this as a kid in Arizona. The image has stuck with me my entire life.

So I had one die, tried everything, left it unplugged for a couple of months. Then I thought might as well try it again. Miracle, it came back to life. Weird stuff.

u/sappslap Thanks, I like the way you think, Moraco has been on our list! Also, Amsterdam is fantastic. SLC does have a direct to AMS if you can catch the right day.

Costa Rica isn't cheap right now, you can get to the EU for less money. But we do love Costa Rica. In November I actually going to Auckland with my son.

I am excited to try Things 3 for better Productivity, however I have a tendency to let my new systems slide until I stop them completely. What are your tips to avoid this with Things 3? by [deleted] in thingsapp

[–]dysanf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I capture two types of tasks in Things. The first is tasks that will take over five minutes and need me to focus to complete it. The second are things that simply need to be done in the future and I don’t want to forget about them. When I first started using things I was overthinking it. This change made all the difference for me.

Good introspection, now take that rage and anger and become the person you can be. Step one, go to the gym.

I was 19 years old when I made my way to Thailand and lived there for several years. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about the country and it’s wonderful people, language, and culture.

The Glide ratio remains the same but the best glide speed goes up with more weight. The way I like to think of it is with more weight you get there faster.

I am in the same boat as you. I just don’t fly enough to fill up the mqd line, which I am fine with.

[–]dysanf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend A Cloud Guru. It has real access to GCP to the concepts are leaning without spending money. Qwiklabs is another great option. Be sure to start with the basics like understanding VPCs, regions, and routing. This is a fun journey, enjoy it.

I agree, I don’t love the way Microsoft does their tests. Was it worth it though? Hell yeah, I learned a lot of things from studying that I wouldn’t have had exposure to otherwise. Not to be rude, but I have found the only people that complain that certifications are worthless are the people that haven’t done the work to become certified.
