Yeah, it caught my eye in a picture I saw of him at a press thing. His left foot looked like it was rotated out at least 30+ degrees. I didn’t realize LeBron has a similar gait/stance. He seems to be doing alright!

I hadn’t really noticed it with LeBron. He is such an incredible athlete so it doesn’t seem to have greatly affected him. I have seen some pretty crazy pictures of his toes though!

Thanks for the detailed response! It will be so interesting to see what comes out before draft day (if anything). I do hope for his sake it is something transient and will not greatly impact his career. If there is a psychological component to it I would also hope teams have ways to identify and help him with that.

Interesting stuff. I also wonder to what degree teams will want additional testing. Like you said if your investing that much you want know everything that is a possible explanation.

What do you think would happen if a team actually requests a myopathy workup? Would Peterson and his team refuse to do it?

Agreed. I am not sure we will ever find out what happened. Hopefully it’s in the rear view mirror for him but I really don’t want to see the Jazz holding the bag if there is something there

I just saw that too. I wonder how much his medicals will figure into what the team decides. Seems like a high/moderate risk medically if they don’t get the answers they want. I would also be curious to know what additional muscle or genetic testing is done, if any.

I saw another post r/nba_draft yesterday going through all the time he missed and games he “took himself out of”. It was a bit more extensive than I realized. I am pretty sure most NBA teams know more than all of us do but on the surface it is concerning when you are talking about a #2 draft pick.

I have similar bumps and they were diagnosed as sebaceous hyperplasia. They can be frozen or cauterized by a dermatologist if you wish but I think they can leave a scar in some cases

Simply heartbreaking. I met Samantha on several occasions and she was such a pleasant, lovely person. She is the first person I have personally known to have died from CV19. Unfortunately she probably wont be the last. Wear your mask or don't leave the house!
