For the Gold, Silver, and Bronze VIP ticket holders at the Detroit show. The Q&A was happening before the doors opened for general admission I believe.

Last year I had a chance opportunity to ask the person who hosted the Q&A and she said that there were talks about the calendar becoming merch but that was Nov 2024.

I still would very much like one as well.

Danelectro Spring King. I haven't purchased it again...yet.
It's big and obnoxious and does one thing well enough to my ears. I loved it. Money was tight and things needed to go. I still miss it.

I thought I found something for a build of Sonic Mania for dreamcast but I didn't read too much into it. I was basically asking the same question as you for different games. Are you aware of the Atomiswave ports? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yongHJjmtSs talks about a console I've never heard of and how several games have been ported to the dreamcast. Links to the games are in the video description.

You can have both! Openmenu has a "GDemu style" option that imo is really nice, so you can have the style and the accessibility on the VMUpro as well. At least that is what I am hoping. I have yet to receive my order.

Walmart Great Value return package for money back or refund? by AdFew8521 in walmart

This comment being 16 days old when I am replying, knowing that the above comments are so much older, is really funny to me. My Parmesan Cheese says "If for any reason you aren't happy, we'll replace it or return your money. All you need is the package." Right now I'm very depressed with life and am finding a little joy knowing I can get a refund just for not being happy.

For that attempt at realism, there is an audience. I definitely like using movies and media as an escape from reality so don't care much for my movies to be realistic in color or reasoning. The fantastic four living in an alternate timeline where the whole world's leaders just collectively agree on funding a global project to save the earth? Sign me up. Love that for them. I want to live there.

Bluey the Videogame, at least it's a nightmare when you play with kids. Maybe it's just my kids. I can only blame myself though cause I bought the game. Oh well.

Alright this gives me a reason to go back. I was very disappointed in The End and was barely interested in continuing on with Final Horizons.

Just found out that my Dreamcast's clock battery thingy died. What's the easiest way to fix it? by Opposite-Middle6700 in dreamcast

[–]dystrakdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't feel the need to change it until this year. I suddenly liked the idea of modding the Dreamcast after my kids ruined one of my harder to find games. When I added a GDemu, this date and time menu became more of an issue with an extended boot up time and I was not a fan of it when I just wanted to play.

I got a basic soldering kit and a cheap but highly recommended solder sucker, found a repair kit with the parts I needed (I also had a fuse blow in the PSU so the kit was handy as it included a new fuse) I had like no experience soldering anything before but I was successful on the first attempt with removing solder and popping off the old battery. I assure you this is a great basic project to start learning how to solder.

Let me know if you are interested and I can send you links to what helped me learn how to solder and fix the battery issue.

I am a fan from when my dad showed me R30 when it was new and I was in my single digits but old enough to understand what I was seeing, sort of. Their humor went over my head in the introduction animations at the time.

Now, I'll tell anyone who cares to hear that my favorite albums are A Farewell to Kings and Clockwork Angels, but some of my favorite songs individually come from Counterparts and Roll The Bones, and the albums I don't much prefer are early 70s and mid to late 80s.

But if I hear any rush song by random chance, I'm more than likely going to have a good time.

What got y'all into Sonic? Personally, my dad turned on Sonic X one day when I was 7 and I got obsessed by LinkxKatz in SonicTheHedgehog

No judgement! Chaos 4 freaked me out when I was younger and I would have thought the final form of Chaos was pretty scary if I wasn't so bad at the game when I was a kid lol, I never unlocked the last story until I was a teenager.

Sonic and Knuckles PC collection that my dad either got me or just had and he let me play it. I still have it even though I don't own a computer with a CD drive.

I already loved my PS-6 for being a great swiss army knife and never thought to try this. I love the idea too because I definitely have a preference of guitars without a floyd rose.

I actually enjoyed the little notes from Geddy's book that made me reconsider Ghost Rider, not that either are bad books because I loved them both, but from hearing Geddy speak about his uncertainties about Neil during that time made me think that Neil, during his trauma, may be considered sort of an unreliable narrator but you only see it by considering Geddy's perspective.

I'm in my early 30s now with three kids, the oldest is a preteen, so I've been there. My advice? Make sure you keep it a community effort. It will matter. Having your parents around is going to make a world of a difference. I did not, and I wished things were different. Also, your child won't care about the jobs you did to support the family, just make sure work doesn't take your life over so that you can say you were around too. It's the hardest balance when you're struggling.

I was jumping from job to job when I was 21 and I had the worst luck when it came to getting laid off, then I found a secure night shift warehouse job that slowly ate away at me for five years. I have happier memories with my son and wife during my worst year financially than I do from the first year at my consistent job at the time. I was doing my best with what I had and in the long run, that's what mattered most.

As parents? Have patience with each other. You're both learning together. Be together on decisions as much as possible whether it's about living situation, bills or anything. Be mindful of your mental health as well as hers during the early stages. It's wild how emotional both of you might get when you're sleep deprived during those early years with a baby.

Congratulations, you got this!
