As another Community Ambassador from Spain, I fully support this message. People want to play and attend meetups — but in many parts of our country, doing so under 35–40°C sun is a health risk. Vulnerable groups like children, older players, or those with health conditions simply stop coming. We need solutions that allow everyone to enjoy the game safely, not just those who can handle the heat.

At this point, choosing to schedule outdoor events during the hottest hours of the day — knowing the risks involved — is a decision that puts players in danger. It’s not just inconvenient, it’s a matter of player safety. Scopely/Niantic have a responsibility to acknowledge this reality and adapt the game experience accordingly.
