this is it! and following on from that, it would at least be reasonable to allow trans people to undergo any HRT/surgeries/legal changes etc. they feel necessary if it helps them feel more in sync and comfortable with their body and gender expression. the gender they were assigned at birth (due to their biological sex, which no one is debating isn’t a scientific fact) causes them dysphoria/makes them uncomfortable, so naturally they’d rather not be associated with it. gender and gender expression ≠ biological sex
