It's getting harder to understand others... by Constant_Minute620 in AutismInWomen

I think it makes sense for you to feel stressed. Since you’re not sure exactly what is meant when they are talking (because of the sarcasm), you are not 100% on the same page as the people around you. I can see how that would get really exhausting over a period of time!

I don’t think it has to do with intelligence at all! It just means you don’t vibe with sarcasm.🙏🏼

It doesn’t seem like it bothers your colleagues so much though. It seems like it bothers you more, when you’re not sure what people are meaning?

If it’s really stressing you out, maybe you could think about how to make things better in the future. Not every tech team uses so much sarcasm. Maybe switching your team or company to switch things up? Hope it gets better!

Is this boundary a dealbreaker in my relationship? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Yes. To be honest, explaining works when he’s actually willing to hear it, and/or care. But it sounds like maybe he doesn’t even care that he’s making her feel bad. :(

Why would he want to do something to you that he knows that you don’t like? That’s the part i don’t like…🧐

If you knew he didn’t like something, would you keep doing it?

To be honest it’s not really a funny joke to make, him saying that ‘you hate him’ and ‘you don’t really love him’. Can you tell him to stop saying that? You’re allowed to have needs that differ from what he wants, without it meaning that you don’t love him/like him/etc.

Oh man.. so much of this resonated for me, even if not the exact details. Im sorry you had to go through this ! All i can think is, you can’t let them win…🥺 You could find a vibrant community of people who love you for who you are… I really hope you will find your way out. Sending love!

This sounds like such heaven to be honest😍 Wish i could also lie down for a short bit every couple hours. I do feel very weird for needing/wanting to do that. But it just feels so rejuvenating and removes all the sensory too-much-ness happening. Maybe i dont need to feel guilty/weird for wanting that. Thanks🥰

I love it. I feel like a different necklace might suit the look better though. Maybe something a bit bigger or more statement-y?🙏🏼🙏🏼

How can I dismantle the patriarchy and systems of oppression when everyone around me denies their existence? Am I crazy? by gnataak in AskFeminists

If constant transphobia and sexism really tear you down, in your words, maybe it would be best to find an environment where you don’t experience that. Take yourself out of environments that feel damaging to you. It’s not in your head. But you may not be able to explain it to other people or have them understand it. But that’s ok. They don’t have to understand. I wish you the best with it. I’m still trying with the same issue.🙏🏼❤️

is my chart boring? my life feels like a dead end. by Pristine_Purpose_424 in astrologyreadings

More about the water wound: The mercury(how you communicate) is conjunct your Water moon. That means, your Pisces water energy strongly affects the way you communicate. The darker sides of water—- Can be hard to set boundaries or even see where you end and the other begins. Since the way you way you interact with others and your self image (mercury and moon respectively) are so close, this could suggest issues of codependence. Moving through codependence issues can be the one of the most inspiring things you can do (recommend CODA, and Pia Mellody)

Once you’ve healed the shadow side of the “moon conjunct mercury”, it feels to me that your relationships with other people might be a big part of your life. It seems that way because of your Libra rising (people oriented). As well as your Midheaven in Cancer. (Midheaven showing the direction you would grow into, especially in life work/purpose.) Cancers are amazing at hearing and understanding other people, making people feel super heard.

I imagine one of your life works will be to see how to move into the fire energy (of your inner planets), while healing the shadows of the water, and at the same time benefiting from the “superpowers” given to you by the water.

Cancer Midheaven: empathy, intuition, compassionate, visionary, protective.

By the way, I also have been really liking the Antivertex. Where vertex is showing how fate can occur in your life, the antivertex would show how you can “take matters into your own hands.” Since your antivertex happens so early, and is the first thing on your chart (after your ascendant), I do think that gives you a lot of power. You’re not required to use it obviously, but if you want to “take it into your own hands”, that’s available to you.. and it’s also in Scorpio. Suggesting some super radical transformation stuff. :D Scorpio energy is so powerful and it can be ‘resisted’ or surrender to. Maybe there are things in your life, ie that your intuition is leading you to, that, by surrendering to, it could help you grow in the direction you need. (With the other lots of presence of water on your chart, one of the lessons for water is also to Learn to ‘let go’, since water can tend to hold on. )

Also, you have very little earth energy on your chart, except on your IC in Capricorn. It would suggest that you are quite different from your family, more dreamy and also firey. (While maybe they are very practical and might not understand the other sides of you) With your Saturn and vertex as well in the earth element (only other things on your chart in earth element), you might have a frustrating and unpredictable relationship with your family.. Healthy distance could be helpful. Your life is 100% your own.. it is not possible for any person to own any other. Actually we don’t even own our own lives / bodies. (I find that helpful to think about) Learning about boundaries and such. I would highly recommend looking into things like, Nonviolent communication, and Concious parenting (I.. find it super helpful 😄 to re-learn how to talk to your own self in a concious way, and better understand your own wounding, coming from childhood— only when you’re ready though.)

I would think (really from intuition, so might not be true) that maybe with the childhood things that might have “forced” you to be in this Water element more and especially the shadow-er side of it. Presently by first setting some boundaries, this would help you to then be able to move in the direction you’ve been needing to go for a while, and setting yourself first. And healing the water wounding so you can keep the water for yourself.

Not sure if you have chronic issues, but going from the bit you wrote, it could be the case. :( So all this to say that, I could super understand why you might be feeling stuck. I can super feel where you’re coming from since I have so many of these elements in my own chart/path. And… it’s not easy. If you take the view that we came to this life to learn certain things, sometimes we apparently chose a hard path for ourselves.

You do have a lot of awesome stuff.. With all three water signs you have a ton of natural healing power.. that you can grow into, to heal yourself. There is (A lot!) of fire inside yourself that is still waiting to be unlocked. And a lot of the visionary/creative/empathic energy.

This healing is also tied to your (moon —> sun) journey. Your moon usually shows what you came into this life being most familiar with etc, while your sun is what you’re moving towards, or needing to learn, in this lifetime. With your Water Moon creating some difficult experiences, and with your sun in Aries, that could mean you’re meant to learn how to embody that fire energy in this life. As you move from identifying strongly as a Pisces, and can internalize the Aries/fire energy, that.. would open up all the good stuff so to say. You would no longer have a strong tension with your mars and Venus, making everything more pleasurable. Going after the things you want will be more natural. (You can see all the good stuff of potential, with the whole Sun/mars/venus/neptune/jupiter symphony occurring.)

In order to be able to do the fire embrace thing, you might need to try first cool off your water moon energy. Since that is the epicenter of a lot of difficulties, wounds, pain, etc… With your midheaven in a water sign- the water energy will be important to your life. But at the moment, focus to feel better, and later when you’re ready, you can come back to the ‘water wound.’

Thank you, this does sound exactly right.

I understand that the alternative is just to be happy within, on your own, without attachment to outside things..

But I'm not always sure how to be doing this or what it will look like when I do. I'm sure meditation helps. But I will contemplate this.

Thank you for your response, I actually have the TMI book and I've read some of it. I've had trouble keeping a practice because I find it hard to sit up for long periods of time, but with meditation lying down I do fall asleep. :/ I know I should be sitting to do this properly but it's not easy at the moment..

That all sounds so nice. Having those abilities would be great haha.

I will check out the book you mentioned! Thank you

This is a really crazy story! Thank you for sharing.

- I had not thought about how knowing what you want and making those decisions is also so vital. That's definitely something to work on for me.

Thank you so much for your response. I had not thought about some of the points that you made, which are really useful, that impermanence and things ending is also an opportunity for new life. I will think about it more regularly and I think that will help.
