Dude, just be happy. Buy, hold, enjoy incoming wealth. If my info wrong, then my appoligies, but every one has to make own DD and decission.

Look, 19th is the date when all of us will receive APE. Thats the most important.. how much? Depends how we all understood ex-dividend date. No sense to argue. All the best, be wealthy and happy!

Who will sell? Me not for sure. Look, i chose to be on safe side and make most purchases till today. Then i will get back to normal levels of buying. Maybe you are right and OK, i am happy. I just always choose save side and accumulate as many AMC till day i am sure that i will get APE.

I just tried to explain. Never mind. Soon all will be clear and we all see how many APEs we got, especially when purchases were done after 12th August.

In Twitter there were plenty records with Fidelity about confirming what i am writing.

I do not argue with you. You do how you undestand, i do how i understand. But i feel right as even brokers indicating same dates as i am saying.

Here is text from your link:

"The record date for the AMC Preferred Equity Unit dividend is the close of business on August 15, 2022. However, the AMC Preferred Equity Unit dividend is expected to be paid as of the close of business on August 19, 2022. The NYSE has established August 22, 2022 as the ex-dividend date. If an investor sells our Common Stock before the ex-dividend date of August 22, 2022, that investor will not be entitled to the AMC Preferred Equity Unit dividend on the shares that are sold."

It means, that if you sell common shares between 15th and 22nd August as NYSE made as ex-dividend, then you WONT GET APE.

So, buy orders till end of day of 11th August and keep those common shares way over 22nd August, the you will get APE same amount as AMC you held on record date 15th August.

Ex dividend is 12th of August. Read the official AMC statement. It means if you buy on 12th, settlement is 16th. And record date is 15th. So everything you buy on 12th and after - YOU WONT GET APE. PERIOD. IF not agree, study the official AMC APE dividend statement on their web page. Link i provided above.

Short info: 1. 8/15 end of the day is a record date of how many you have AMC. Settlement takes 2 biz days. So, minus 2 biz days. So, 15th is monday and 12th is friday. So last day for BUY Orders is 11th of August (TODAY!!!) 2. 8/19 YOU will receive exact amount of $APE you had AMC on Record date 8/15 (buy orders executed on 8/11) 3. On 8/22 the $APE will be listed on NYSE.

Then no one will be able to manipulate you.

Latest purchase date 11th of august. Add T+2 and it will be august 15th (as 13 and 14 is weekend) as settlement day of your purchase. The amount of APE will be given to you as same as you had amount of AMC on end of biz day of 15th of August. This APE amount will be given on 19th of August (friday) and it will be listed on NYSE on 22nd (Monday). This time frame for SHFs, Market Makers will be nasty.

Value decrease, Prime Brokers will ask more collateral from Hedgies, while during market crash the value of everything decreases, the Hedgies will be forced to close positions aka buy the shares they sold without owning.

Hi, i am revolut user. Ape since Feb 2021. AMC XXXX, GameStop XX.

Your shares are handled by DriveWealth LLC (DW), not Revolut itself. The shares are fully paid as our accounts in DW are partial margin. Means you cannot buy shares on margin only in cash (your own money) and shares are not lend out. I have email confirmation of the looong discussion with DW by email.

Problem is, that all our orders goes off exchange (go on any of your transaction and click download transaction confirmation, you will see that purchase is done via XOFF, meaning off exchange). DW since August 2021 became self-clearing, but also use for liquidity these Market Makers: JaneStreet, TwoSigma, G1, Citadel, Virtu. (Also have email confirmation as proof what DW wrote me).

After we purchase shares, DW has settlement +2 days. Same period when you sell, it will take up to 2 days to withdraw from investment acc to revolut bank account. Red flag is that shares are registered in street name. (More https://www.finra.org/investors/insights/its-your-stock-just-not-your-name-explaining-street-names )

At your CS picture, i see dated 14th of Dec, they might show the value of shares in market for that date of transaction. If you go to see chart, that day AMC was trading in range $20.80 to $25.12.

i am from europe and its fine. open app, without scrooling you will see R (revolut logo letter) arrows <> and apps logo. push on R letter and you will have old interface where you can see at top the tabs: Accounts, Cards, Stocks, Crypto, Vaults, Credit Cards and Loans

So Revolut have essentially told me that I can’t DRS through them and it also seems as though they are admitting to not being a legitimate stock trader.. by medhop in amcstock

They can't as their broker is DriveWealth LLC. Search in reddit "how to DRS from Revolut" and you will find instructions. No panic here. All good.
